Talk to your head coach. Discuss your situation and how he projects you next year on the squad. Do you need development in the weight room? Do you play offense, defense, or both? Depending on what position you play, what your goals are, financial and travel considerations, these are all factors.

Every school has camps; some are no more than glorified opportunities for assistants to make money and not much is taught. If you can swing it, more than one camp would be very beneficial. If you have a summer job, you need to know if you can take time off to go to camps.

Your head coach is the best place to start.

Michigan has one of the largest 5 day camps in the nation. You get broken into positions then into groups of 8 to 12 for more 1on1 instruction. Talent level is from ok to great so you can see where your at as far as talent. Costs about $400 for the camp but its worth every penny. The coaching staff there was a array from all around the country.

If you are looking for one of the best football camps in the country it is the Offense Defense camps aka (O-D). Unlike most camps, this full contact camp lasts from morning til night and consisting of 3 sessions. I went two years ago in Nashville and have benefited dramaticly. Coaches from colleges across the country help coach tecnique as well as foot work. Ive been through alot of 2 a days and rough practices but none as tiring as these. I literally was unable to walk at the end of the day.If your serious about expanding your football career you should seriously take this camp into consideration.

Qb's & receivers: Elite 11 Camp @ Mission Viejo, CA. (you must be a big time player or they will not allow you to attend)

The Manning Camp: Be prepared to work hard in the sun, heat, & humidity. This camp s not for the person that wants to watch cartoons & drink a few cold beverages.
