What schools have the best food! or concessions?

Seymour- Chicken sandwich, taco salad, potato bar, cheese sticks, lasagna & salad, chili pies are offered on different nights along with the regular hotdogs, Nacho cheese chili and chips, and Spunkmeyer cookies. Add in the candy and drinks.

The district 3AA tournament will be at Seymour. Come hungry.

I also need to nominate Providence Academy in Johnson City. The school facility is absolutely beautiful, the service was outstanding, and while they have the usual stuff in the concession stand, all of us had to pig out on the hot fudge sundaes!

While I haven't been to one of their basketball games see their teams play, Brentwood High School Volleyball Tournaments have the best concessions I have been to with grilled chicken, grilled hanburgers with all the fresh fixins, pasta, fruit, home made cookies, etc.

This might should be another thread, but who has the worst? My vote goes to Kingston- popcorn and pizza, thats it.

I agree that Eagleville has a great selection of items. Some key elements that make this up are great help. Also the school sometimes puts the last word in what can be prepared and served. I have had several years experience in this field. It takes alot of time and effort to get everything ready for a ballgame. If you have not lugged a couple of carts around at Sams full of concessions you wouldn't have any idea. My hats off to all of the volunteers that make it happen! This is another stat that goes un-noticed just as assists do!

I'll tell you who has the best deal on popcorn: Wilson Central!

 

At most venues, when you ask for popcorn you get this pencil-thin sack that's not even packed well. Not so at the home of the Wildcats! You get this huge brown paper sack filled to the brim with buttery pop. Heck, this bag is built for sharing!

 

And the cost? One buck. For one George Washington mugshot, you can enter the world of popcorn heaven. Kudos to the Wildcat Concessions!

The "OldMissGuy" post was great! It should be used on the "Food Network!" I don't know about basketball games, but Oliver Springs football concessions serves the best coffee I've ever had at a high school football game! Heck, it could probably be used in a commercial or something...."The best part of waking up is O.S. coffee in your cup,"....or something like that.
