Best Player in State?

Best tennis players are at Baylor School in Chattanooga. There team is just sick. They have Orlando Lourenco, Bo Seal, some German kid, Tanz Kane. They are by far the best team in the state.

You might be right, but MUS has won like 10 out of 11 in division II, even though they lost some players theyve gotta be the favorites.

As a former active player, I know all the players in tenneseee. A lot of them are really good that most of you don't know of. It's just that many of them decided to play doubles. Here are two best players in division AAA:

1) Daniel Krikorian (Brentwood)

2) John Hereford (South in Kingsport)

Unless, they decide to play doubles, the should be the favorites to win individuals:

Other notable metions that have a chance to win state for singles(in no particular order):

1)Kyle Wishing

2)Andrew Solarski

3)Steven Coley

4)Kevin Kuo

5)Josh Davis

6)Alex Greer

I can say right now that Kyle would beat Krikorian any day of the week, of that I'm 100% sure, and I also know that John Hereford is VERY overrated. I've seen the kid play and I wasn't impressed at all. He's a good player but not among the top two best. Kevin Kuo has regressed a lot in the past few years. He was one of the top when he played in 14's but since hasn't played much and unless he's drastically improved from state last year, he shouldn't even be mentioned on this list. Solarski is a good player but is nothing special. These players you have listed are good but I'm confident KW would beat all of them :thumb:

Yeah, I just put Kevin there to make him feel better. He knows he's not amoung the best anymore. School is number 1 for him.

Thoughtful of you.

Hereford lost before state last year to a 14 yr old, so I dont really see how you can put him on there, and youve gotta have Rob Koehler on it since he was the runner up last year (he dominated Solarski).

    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
