I was referring to MaroonNations comment about him winning state...notice I named only those in AAA?

and btw last time Wishing and Lang played it went 3 sets with Lang winning 10-8 in a tie breaker and the last time with Davis was 5,4 and with Bo it was something like 4,2. So "kill" isn't the best word to use.

Didn't you say that last year about Hereford? I think you got a little west TN bias.

The AAA singles will be a lot deeper this year, but who is playing dubs?

Yeah, He was supposed to win last year. He just had bad luck. He killed Chris Smith last year in the district 0-0. But at regionals, Chris Smith went crazy and beat john in 3 close sets.

First of all I know Hereford is a good player but I wasn't impressed at all when I last saw him play. Second of all, it doesn't matter who has good luck or bad luck, all that matters is that Chris Smith showed up to play and beat him when it counted

Hahaha... I couldnt care less about who won between Chris Smith and Hereford, but about your comment, "it doesn't matter who has good luck or bad luck, all that matters is that Chris Smith showed up to play and beat him when it counted." This is from the same guy who had the excuses when Hunter beat Kyle in Murfeesboro, so you have no room to talk. If I remember... "Kyle played awful... it would have been different on a different day." You have NO room to talk, okay.

you are full of crap...if you will go back and READ...I stated that right now hunter is a better player than kyle because Hunter beat kyle...BUT if we PLAY at state...that's when it will matter the most...i won't deny the fact that i said kyle played awful because i did but i never said the end of that quote up there

    • Hampton will probably win region 1a every year they are in it.  North Greene has never won a football game against Hampton and Unaka's win in 1994 was the only one in 50 years.  Cloudland only has 2 wins in 20 years.
    • I am not sure he would start over that kid they having coming in from Minnesota.

Staff file photo / Hixson High School announced the hire of Josh Edmondson as the next head coach of its wrestling program this week. Josh Edmondson, who has helped multiple high school wrestling programs in the Chattanooga area win TSSAA state titles, is eager to help Hixson become a championship contender again after being hired this week as head coach of the Wildcats. The 40-year-old Edmonson, who wrestled at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and was a two-time Southern Conference individual champion for the Mocs, most recently coached as an assistant for Soddy Daisy's 2023-24 team that set the Class A state record for most team points at a state traditional tournament. Edmondson was a standout at Medical Lake High School in Washington, where he went 28-0 as a junior to win a state title, and went on to win a junior college national championship for North Idaho. He transferred to UTC for his junior season and won back-to-back 184-pound titles at the SoCon tournament in 2007 and 2008, years in which the Mocs also swept the conference's regular-season and tournament team championships. He has spent more than a decade putting that experience to work as a high school coach, and for Edmonson, it's not just about making better wrestlers. "My passion is to teach young wrestlers discipline and get them ready to go out and face the challenges that life is going to throw at us," Edmondson said. "When a former athlete comes back and says you were a big reason why they were able to fight this fight or get a job or be this parent, that's what keeps me going. That is the passion I am looking forward to putting into these kids." In his first high school coaching job, Edmondson teamed up with college teammate Joey Knox to help Central win back-to-back TSSAA state duals titles in 2011 and 2012. Edmondson then joined Garick Hall at Hixson and helped the Wildcats win a state traditional title in 2014, the program's first since 1973. Edmondson is excited to not only help rebuild the Wildcats, who most recently made it to state duals in 2021, but also help lead the high school's girls' wrestling program and a kids' club for Hixson. https://www.timesfreepress.com/news/2025/mar/26/josh-edmonson-has-big-plans-as-hixsons-new/
    • If you are good enough schools overlook a lot to take you(see any of the Ferrari’s and their traveling circus). I’m sure he will end up at like Okie State in the end.
    • That’s because they have about half the students and not near the NIL that a place like App State does. But in the end you still have to live in Boone NC and sorry AppVol, no reason to live in Boone or North Carolina in that regard!    **also appvol**** I’m just giving you a hard time
