By the way...for all those fans that live close by and not really pulling for anyone..come on over to the Lake Co side and get rowdy with our side..Let's blow the roof off the gym...We need all the support we can get!

For anyone who can't make it both games can be heard on both 95.1 & 105.7 fm stations.

Most all the South Fulton fans I have talked to plan to cheer for Lake County to win the district.

RedParent ..Round everyone up and come on to the Lake Co side..Little ole Lake needs all the help we can get..It is going to be tough to win this district..About the post and you needing to support your own county school..I can see where they're coming from..but I don't remember those same county foes treating their neighbors very well about 3 months ago if you know what I mean..

By all accounts, South Fulton had a disaster of a season. It was tough watching our boys be demoralized every game. Lake County(and Humboldt really) took it very easy on us and allowed us to lose with some dignity. I really don't care about the history between Driver and the Siscos or anyone else. As a parent of a player, I appreciated the sportsmanship shown by Coach Whitby and Lake County. I'll do my part to help fill the stands with green Thursday night.

I just cannot understand how you can pull for Lake County instead of a team from your home county. I always cheer for local teams before I go out of county.

Who are the SF fans gonna cheer for? Your favs gleason, greenfield? They aren't even playin anymore. Do they cheer for halls over LC. OH maybe they cheer for UC over humboldt and LC. But dont you know that obion and sf (county schools ) dislike that city school UC. Who do you suggest they root for!! By the way, YOU otta post incognito if you know what I mean!!!!!

    • Sorry Barn. I wasn’t specific enough. It seems I’m always protecting the principal at 825. My interactions with her have been extremely positive, but very limited. With all the other stories being told, I’m confident there are other sides I am not aware of. Regardless, there are lots of decent people earning good checks up there. Maybe too good, which explains why no one is willing to speak up. My beef is with the poor communication among the athletic programs and with the administration. Seven years ago the poor communication led to my son missing graduation due to a sporting event that was planned months before. I chalked it up to the system being totally shocked that the baseball team made it out of their district, and our then AD was a football coach. Maybe they were surprised and did not plan appropriately. That was more palatable than they just didn’t give a crap. Déjà vu, seven years later, same thing. Different administration, but same result.  Maybe in seven more years, it will actually be “about the kids”. They should do better.
