Not-so HeavyD
The bottom line for McNairy is stopping, excuse me, containing Mendenhaul. She is going to get hers. The big thing for Harpeth is handling the quickness and atheleticism of McNairy's guards. Should be a great one. Might have to make the trip. Might???? Also does any one know what the all region team looked like.

Great job girls, Lets kep on going wouldnt they play the loser, since harpeth is the number 1 seed from region 6 so that means they would play the number 2 seed from the other region. and McNairy will play the winner of that game since they are now the number 2 seed. You are correct, my mistake. Harpeth plays the loser of that game at creekwood and McNairy plays the winner at the winner of Lipscomg/ezell at their home gym. Harpeth can't play a game at home since the gym doesn't seat 1250

BlueNation07
Harpeth 71 McNairy 62 Final Harpeth came back from 13 midway through the 3rd to win the game. I know this excuse is used all of the time...but the referees were HORRIBLE. They made terrible calls both ways. In the second half it hurt McNairy bad enough that I truly think the refs played a role in the outcome of the game. Nothing against Harpeth (yall are a great team) but I think that without all of the momentum that the zebras gave to you, McNairy would have walked out with the win. From reading several posts and watching the game tonight, I think the TSSAA really needs to look into their officiating problems. Good Luck to both teams in their substate games. The refs hurt Harpeth in the first half, I would say it was even through the game. I agree the officiating has stunk the whole region tournament. I don't think the reason Harpeth won was because of the refs, though. They wanted it more than Mcnairy did. Harpeth has an awesome team and could be the next state champs. Don't blame a loss on the refs, blame it on the team.
