Ragland and Stewart came through with key FT's down the stretch.

Shelbyville had a double digit lead at one time, and that was when R/E decided to full court press. It messed Shelbyville up bad. They had trouble getting anything down the court. Then Barry Stewart got a few breakaways from the press and made R/E back off a little bit. Gross had a good game, even though getting blocked on a 3 on 2 fast break was embarrassing (Especially at about 6'8"). Shelbyville was shooting about 22 percent from the field after the 1st half, and R/E was about 20. It was pretty ugly 1st half.

Shelbyville came through when it counted and now we have 1 more game where we are big underdogs in my eyes. Hamilton is amazing. Twilley and Stewart will have to have amazing games for a shot at the state championship. Shoot, when was the last time any team in AAA had both the girls and guys in the State championship games?

In 1984 Chatt. Brainard won both the girls and boys AAA state championships. I am very proud of both of our teams...Girls being runner-up, but let's go Eagles bring home your 1st gold ball!!!

Stewert is good enough to go somewhere better the Mississippi State. Theres no way that Twilley is 6 foot. Hes shorter then Tyler Cutter whos 5'11.

Yea Stewart could probably go a little better but Miss. State is in the SEC and they will be good in the next year or 2.They where young this year.I know Jamont Gordon and Reginald Delk Started alot of games.Plus i have heard that Tyler Smith has Miss. St. in his top three along with Pittsburg, and Memphis.Add Stewart to the mix and they could have a nice looking team.

    • We could sure use some math teachers country wide. Ever go into a store or restaurant and the bill comes to $9.97 and you give them a ten dollar bill and 2 pennies because you wanted a nickle back and then the meltdown starts and the next thing two more people have to come and help figure it out and the place comes to a complete halt. I see this everyday and it's a sad representation of all these schools allowing these kids out the door to get shortchanged the rest of their life.
    • I like the Pirates chances. I’ll be there as soon as work allows.
    • Stars, I heard we were searching far and wide for some math teachers. Any chance their kids bench press or 40 times are getting checked? LOL I’ve heard good things from 825.
    • I think it was expected. “Bad” luck I guess to get a couple difference maker QBs in the same class. I thought the decision was made a little early myself, but they were struggling offensively last year.  I assume the running quarterback alco had last year would be a senior this fall, and the transfer would start the following two years in addition to getting a ton of playing time this year. Maybe he waits two yrs, but I doubt it. The kid is good. So is the one who stayed.
    • I'm from Cloudland and we've never played a sectional game.  We need to win tomorrow night to avoid that bus ride.  Us and north greene can play with you guys so I'm expecting good games whoever the matchup is.
