wingman10
Corner Pub must have been closed that day.
Solomon
Ah, glad to know there are other on here who got that. I figured I'd get a lot of the " " faces.
rollredroll
I got it, Solomon. Plenty of Golden Tee games have gone to pot over the years as jocksniffers look away from their games to catch Air McNair in the back corner. Gerry Bertier
I hope the Titans can let him go and let a team that needs a good QB pick him up, what about him in throwing to Moss in Oakland, throwing to Fitzgerald and Boldin in Arizona, or maybe Braylon Edwards in Cleveland. Trust me Steve still has what it takes and if the Titans are crazy enough to let him go, then do it. I love how Fisher really sticks up for his players. If it can happen to McNair, it can happen to ANY player on that roster. Great Job Titans for creating a publicity nightmare.
gotmilk?
I love how all the guys bashing on Steve now were the same guys sniffing his butt a fews back when he was the MVP and leading the Titans to the playoffs! Lets remember, Steve is still a Pro-Bowl QB and can still play at the highest level! Edited April 5, 2006 by gotmilk?

I think Mason will accept him with open arms.
THE SQUAD
You can say what you want about whether or not he normally comes to work out or not. And you can make jokes about the "Corner Pub". But the fact of the matter is that he has played his BUTT off for 11-12 years for this franchise.Played hurt a lot of the time.Played with injuries that most players(much less Quarterbacks)wouldn't play with. Took the TITANS to the Super Bowl,& within inches of winning it. I just think he deserves better treatment at this point. THE SQUAD

THE SQUAD Yes, and had he not burned a time out earlier in that drive by not being able to get the play in on time, he would have had one left to use on the one inch line as well. Everybody has forgotten that but me....... Yes, he deserves better treatment, but this is the way the league is now. Would you rather him get better treatment and drag the team down the way Favre is in Green Bay right now? Unfortunately, playing with all of the injuries has diminished his skills to the point to where he is not as valuable as he wants to be. It's a no win situation for both parties involved. Solomon
Good article to throw into the debate: http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=jones/060406 I had forgotten Bud Adams got rid of Earl Campbell in his later years! Earl Campbell! No way McNair is a Titan net year. Edited April 7, 2006 by Solomon
ERA
If you guys remember, I said Steve should have left last year on his own to go to a team that is playoff worthy. I hope he leaves now so he can get a last shot to go to the show. The Titans are years from it. It would be best for everyone.
ERA
Kiper update: In his latest mock draft, ESPN draft guru Mel Kiper Jr. has the Titans selecting Leinart with the No. 3 pick. Kiper has the Texans taking Bush at No. 1, then the Saints snagging N.C. State defensive lineman Mario Williams at No. 2. He has the Jets taking Virginia tackle D'Brickashaw Ferguson at No. 4 and the Packers taking Ohio State linebacker A.J. Hawk at No. 5. Kiper has Young going to the Raiders at No. 7 and Cutler going to the Cardinals at No. 10.
