That was your best post ever. I could have never said it better.

How funny. His best post had a lie about Maryville having the most championships in history.

I stayed up all night laughing about a so called die/nasty with one championship in 25 years.

That 1 championship was in the highest classification though.

Actually Maryville has the third most state championships in Tennessee history. They probably do have the most of any team with an open enrollment though.

Who other than Brentwood Academy is ahead of them? And I am assumming you are talking about since the playoff system was started in 1969?

Actually, MUS won state in the highest classification that year. Oak Ridge won in the large school class that excludes the really good teams!

I'm not quiet sure what you are talking about. Oak Ridge won the 1991 AAA state championship. MUS's championships came in 1985, 2004, and 2005. In 1991 MUS lost their last game to Brentwood Academy to go 12-1 on the year.

I guess once in 25 years is better than never.

Mikey,

Those are the wanna be's talking. You can always ask them if there ever has been a college football national champion? Because they still vote on the champion and will for the forseeable future in college football. The guys that bring that up are the ones who have never won a championship and never will. Opie has the football IQ of a good baseball game score so don't pay him any attention. He is a Clinton fan and he still won't answer the question....can he say 70-0? Ha Ha

Is that why there is so much hate for Riverdale then? After all they have won 4 championships since 91 and they were ALL playing in 5A or at least 3A when there were only three classifications.

No voting or polls, just WINS in a playoff setting!

Maryville may miss OR 'if' they go up and OR goes down, BUT Riverdale WILL be there waiting.
