I bet he sure got excited.

I'll say this again Don'ta Hightower is a legit D-1 prospect. I've heard he's already getting letters from Michigan.

donta' hightower is a top prospect but letters are just letters and offers are offers. letters dont mean as much as people think

Steve Shiver - Maryville.....6'3" and 210 WR and safety...already getting interest from several D-1's including his favorite....Floida State. Will play strong safety in college. Steven has good speed and is a big hitter.

As mentioned in the previous post Aaron Douglas. Aaron will most likely be the #1 prospect in the state his senior year. The strong rumor is he has already commited to UT. His father David was a starter at UT on the O-line in the 80's and had an 8 year career with the Bengals. His mother is a fomer Lady Vol center for Pat Summit. Aaron will most likely play tightend in college. He posseses excellent hands and is an outstanding fundemental blocker. Aaron is not as athletic as Jason Whitten but has similar type hands and a bigger body. At 6'6" and 250 he is still growing...

When talking about Top Jr's to be in the State of Tennessee, More specifically West Tennessee, You would have to include RB/LB Travis Simpson at Millington Central High School. He could be the next in a long line of Division athletes that have played at Millington. In addition Millington has a couple of more Jr's to be to keep an eye on as well. LB/DB/S Melvin Johnson, and LB/DB/RB Derenik Culbreath.

He'll probably grow into a tackle. Sounds like a real player, Tennessee is not my team but it's good they might be looking instate for more players. They need more than the 4.3's, the 350 pound tackles who look great on paper, they need football players and there's a lot of that in the state (linebacker from Bruceton at Ole Miss is a prime example).
