he just lost one of his assistants....Grant Swallows will continue to teach at LA, but he was just named QB coach at Tennessee Tech

We lost some of the best players in LA history to graduation. I hear we also lost one of our top DB's and "Hit Man" on kickoff coverage to a career ending injury. It may be a struggle in Coach McCoin's return as HC. Good luck Danny!!

McCoin is a great coach. He was the head coach their before Eldridge. He was successful then as he will be now. But, like said in a previous post, alot of talent was lost last year due to graduation and it MIGHT take a year or two before LA is a big contender.

They have some really good players returning, but hte region they play in is the best in the state. Thery may have a good team but the wins and losses may not show it. Good luck anyway.

I hear he's got some "old" guy coming in to coach the RB's who wasn't too bad a player in his time also!! Hope he can help our guys run like he did!!

Lol...Lol...yeah that is what I heard myself. I am proud for him. I think it's just as good for him as it is for the team. I know he will give it his all.
