What cave have you been in Vader? This is not the board nor the time for this discussion but much has changed with the Basketball program, with the exception of the "Head" Coach, of course. Could go 0-1,000,000 and he would remain. But you are right about the Football being much better that the joke that is basketball.

 

I am at the high school purty much every day and talk to the players very often and have not heard anything about the basketball changes. It may be due to the fact that I do not care about basketball and no one else mentions it either. One thing is for sure though, the situation cannot get any worse than the last few years.

With a touch of fire and brimestone. I,d say thats why they have so few players, but the ones they do have are hard nosed and tough as nails.

You hit it "Dead Center" pujo.. The double D's (Detication & Desire). He demands that in his TEAM , and I'm sure he's not the only coach that seeks that in his players.

Yea it hurt the ole ego in week zero when we lost to a rival. Even though we got beat , our boys never quit . (That was a good to see). They kept fighting hard even when mistakes were happening. I'm not taking anything away from Macon. they just out played us. That night was just never ment to be.

 

I'm sure Hamptons players have the same type of double D's & yes I'm sure that ole ball coach Hamton has, demands it to.. ( I quess you could call it "OLD SCHOOL"). Good luck tomorrow night.

Its not easy to play for Trousdale, but it defineately has its rewards.All the guys who have played there should be proud. They earn their rewards, kids like that, deserve to win. Its also a tribute to the coaches, they have to demand alot of these kids and at the same time,make them love the game. Of coarse, stairing at a state title every year makes it a little easier. Several 1a schools have as much talent as Trousdale, they just don,t have the leadership.

Pujo , you know as well as I do that the leadership will have to be earned & come out within the "Team". There's just the matter of who is willing to step up & make that effort. It maybe one or two. Most likely it might be a Sr. , but I've seen Jrs. make that step.( when that happens you've got your backbone). not all are cut out to be leaders. There are those that follow (They are needed too). These learn from examples set by those that lead them. When mistakes happen the adjustment to elliminate mistakes will come within. Even though I'm not around that part of football country. It's there. It will problalby come out tonight.

 

Just don't hang 91 on'em or you'll get talked about on here. (just kiding).

      This whole situation is bonkers. You don’t just kick your star player off the team just because you heard them say the F word; the coach definitely had something against the player, or somebody definitely did. Also, nobody has brought up the idea that the school blackmailed the college to get the college to withdraw the scholarship offer, not to mention that the coach who kicked her off is no longer even with the program; they were fired. I think this is a pretty easy lawsuit. I don’t know if she should deserve that much money, but I think she should get enough money for a full-ride scholarship if she cannot get one after this situation.

      Oh yeah, I’m sure you are different people just always on the same thread for some reason, always agreeing with each other, perhaps just a bunch of dorks who would like to ###### and moan about high school football coaches do a lot of other students, so you make a football team and get a yell at them. When they do something wrong, but I’m sure you don’t like that, do you?   and I’m sure I’m aware of where you get information. A teacher who was on the coaching staff but was fired after the new coaching and staff came in and realized he actually had to start taking his assistant job a little bit more seriously than just wanting to make a little extra cash on the side, hardly even showing up to most practices, should’ve left with his buddy to go to Farragut. I’m sure he could get him a defensive coaching job, but I doubt he will be there in three years. Looking at the way Farragut is currently going.

      It may be hard to believe but there’s more people than me that think you guys are a bunch of losers.    I’m sure the coaching staff, yourself included, cursed at a bunch of high school students. Nobody could name more than 3 coaches on staff due to the constant turnover.

      That's complete BS.  Nobody at ACHS has access to CHS student records unless a transfer is made from CHS to ACHS.

      Trez's last scandal has died down, so I guess this is there opportunity to be the best 4A team playing in 2A a la Sissy MTN.  At least they won't be in a Z-district with 1a teams in the regular season.
