Region 5-5A!

Before the season started everyone pretty much picked Gallatin to win out right. But the challenger for that open second spot was The Raiders or Antioch, but those were the teams that everyone thought would go into the playoffs.Now who are the teams evryones got to get that third spot Antioch is good ,and so is Hunters lane, who gave the bears everything they wanted, but what about Hendersonville or Overton, are they worth mentioning, or has Hendersonville still not earned respect.

Anybody's guess right now. I haven't counted McGavock completely out yet but I would hate to think that the only way I can get into the playoffs is to win week 10 vs. Gallatin.

I think that Gallatin will win the region. Hendersonville and Antioch will make the playoffs. Either Oveton or McGavock will take the fourth seed from region 5-5A. Hunters Lane may have a small outside shot of competing for the fourth seed, but they have a lot of work to do if that is going to happen. Glencliff and Hillwood have about a 1% chance of making the postseason. I did not say that it is impossible, but their chances are slim to none.

Don't jump too quick on the Gallatin express. The region champion will be settled when the Wave comes to the Den. Antioch can pull the upset, they are looking very good just 2 games into the season. If they don't stumble, look for a playoff run as well.

Hville's win was a fluke, hopefully the Raiders can recover and get a consolation win against Stratford to get us ready for the region game at Haters Lame.

I don't know that a shutout is a fluke. Sounds to me like pretty good play by Hendersonville. I don't doubt that McGavock can rebound, but at 0-2 (I think), they better start soon. If they slip up much more, they won't make the play-offs.

I have said since day one that Overton will make the playoffs. I think that it will go down like this. Gallatin, Antioch, H-ville, Overton. There is no such thing as a 20-0 fluke. In that case, Gallatin's 42-0 win over Hillwood was a fluke.

but hopefully Hendersonville will get back this year

 

i think this region wont b decided until week 8 really

 

i know everyone likes galitain but it seems the last few years that they havent steped it up in big games. When galitain is really tested we will see the team that they really are

 

 

the playoff teams i would choose are (not in order)

 

antioch,hville,gallitain,overton but these won really be decided til around week 7/8 when we see galitain get tested and all the rest of the teams get deeper into region play

Yeah there is no way that the win over McGavock was a fluke.I truly feeal that this region will beat its self up and it will not be completely decided until week 10.
