I know, Clinton didnt play Maryville well in the first Quarter, but later on they improved, Clinton's season is starting this Friday Night in Campbell Co. some think possibly 6 straight wins now for Clinton, I know I picked a different score earlier, but I pick:

Gentlemen, its hard to give a true analysis of Clinton because of their starting schedule. Come on, the first ranked teams in 5A and 4A. Anyways, Clinton needs to continue to improve there O-line. The quarterback got killed on Friday vs. Maryville but that being said Clinton did run a very vanilla type offense. I just hope that Clinton keeps on a trucking and looks at the Campbell county game as a chance to unload some frustrations from the past two weeks.

 

Oh, by the way, my prediction is

I agree, after two tough first games, Clinton showed vast improvement. If they play with the same intensity. I think they have good chance of winning their next 6 ballgames. They should beat Campbell Co. 31-10.

the dragons have played two very worthy opponents...

winning 6 in a row could prove to be very challenging and not vey likely---possible but not very likely...

a win over CC looks promising for clinton IF THEY PLAY WITH THE SAME INTENSITY!!!

if they take the cougars too lightly then the Cougs could register their second win of the season...

clinton should be favored and probably will be...

if teh Cougs fall behind early they have to continue to play hard or it could turn into a run away...

so friday night we will have two teams looking for a much needed win...

teh losing team will be facing desparate times...

teh winners will be feeling good about themselves for teh stretch run...

should provide for an exciting matchup...

lots of incentive for both teams...

if one tem looks past the other it could get ugly...

teh only prediction here is that it makes for a good matchup of two teams still searching for respect and identity for this season...

I will be pulling for the cougars but I have lots of friends who will be in the stands pulling for the dragons...

      Well personally I see us going 9-1 so that isn't doom and gloom to me , Most people are thinking 6-4. Bearden will be the possible loss but hoping not. I was very impressed with what I saw this spring.

      the kid you are speaking about, played in JV games,  2H half Science Hill game, split time in Hardin Valley and Bearden and that was it.   The upcoming Senior RB was All Region as a Junior and is regarded by the media as one of the top running backs in East TN for 2024 season. Scouting services have him as a top 10 back in the state.  Something aint adding up with gloom and doom. Maybe he was hurt and not at spring practice when you watched?

      Are you kidding me?  You are just trolling now.  The new head coach's qualifications would be volunteer coach at the Oak Ridge Boys Club?  C'mon man, you can't be serious.  You're trolling us.  Anybody working at Clinton High School has to be like a cat in a room full of rocking chairs at this point.  They are coming after anybody and everybody that had knowledge of what was going on.  This is about to get real ugly.  Only in Clinton.
