Recommended Posts

it wasnt Farragut's announcer it was a players dad. but yeah i go to farragut and i thought it was stupid and shouldnt have been done. but im going to the game and i hope we win so we can win the region.

why do u hate Farragut soo much and how were we jerkwads? naybe we were tired of no one t hinking we would win either game. please explain im curious.

and the announer cheering for the team isnt bad.. its like at tennessee how the pa guy gets into it more when tennessee does something.

Because everyone in East Tn. knows that no one is more arrogant than Farragut.

FLY HIGH OWL NATION

Ooltewah's got the speed, the size, and the depth... pull it together boys and put it all into one aspect. Returning players from last year's team should be hungry for this game.

Did Sterling (I think that's his name, Farragut's RB) graduate last year?

hahaha nope hes only a junior

Oh Man if we win I'll be happy. I hate Farragut more than I hate any other team at any level in sports. They were complete jerkwads in the playoffs last year, with their announcer cheering for their team over the intercom. That's completely unexcusible. Not to mention their beating of Ooltewah at the end of 2004 which cost us our playoff position.

Ooltewah needs to jump out quick. That huge Farragut offensive line will take over in the second half. Sterling will take advantage of the line push. Sterling is a much better back than the kid from Ooltewah.

Not sure that I would say much better back Marshall is a Jr. as well and only averaging 128yards per game on an average of 18 carries a game. Last 3 games he hasn't carried ball much but had 166 yards on 7 carries last week. Oh and btw if you haven't seen em yet this year Owls have a better defense than last year and a MUCH better passing game. Should be great game. I can't imagine Farragut's kids being much bigger than WB, cause WB was HUGE.

    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching stuff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching stuff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
    • After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.
    • Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.
    • This whole situation is bonkers. You don’t just kick your star player off the team just because you heard them say the F word; the coach definitely had something against the player, or somebody definitely did. Also, nobody has brought up the idea that the school blackmailed the college to get the college to withdraw the scholarship offer, not to mention that the coach who kicked her off is no longer even with the program; they were fired. I think this is a pretty easy lawsuit. I don’t know if she should deserve that much money, but I think she should get enough money for a full-ride scholarship if she cannot get one after this situation.
    • Oh yeah, I’m sure you are different people just always on the same thread for some reason, always agreeing with each other, perhaps just a bunch of dorks who would like to ###### and moan about high school football coaches do a lot of other students, so you make a football team and get a yell at them. When they do something wrong, but I’m sure you don’t like that, do you?   and I’m sure I’m aware of where you get information. A teacher who was on the coaching staff but was fired after the new coaching and staff came in and realized he actually had to start taking his assistant job a little bit more seriously than just wanting to make a little extra cash on the side, hardly even showing up to most practices, should’ve left with his buddy to go to Farragut. I’m sure he could get him a defensive coaching job, but I doubt he will be there in three years. Looking at the way Farragut is currently going.
