Slick24
This kid is way over rated, everything i have heard is he is a god, he had a good game agaisnt gibbs, witch some middle school teams could probably beat... i think i saw he had 2 catches agaisnt powell, and i know he didnt have that much against west so when it comes to tough competition hes a avarage player. the only thing he is pretty good at is punt returns. reddevil1
Daniel Dayton is not overrated. He is the best player on Halls team in all 3 parts of the game. With that being said, that does not mean he is an all-state player, just that he is the best we have to offer. That is not a mark against O'Kicker, er O'Connor. He is the best kicker in the area, missed FG's/xpt or not!

osunut2
I agree with reddevil, he is the best that Halls to offer this year, which pretty much tells the story for the Red Devils this season.

Coming from you slick 24 that comment isn't surprising at all. To bad your boys didn't put the hurt on us as bad as you thought so more trash talk is in order to sooth the pain. Halls is a young team this year and for any kid to amass 500+ yards in only seven games isn't to average. What is Powells #1 receiver got this year after seven. That will answer your question. Halls is doing this by only passing maybe 5 or 6 times a game. He just started returning punts the last two games. Notice we don't take shots at your players I personally think Kenny Cruze is having a great year and last friday he was the difference between the win and the loss. Baseballmad
Dayton is a little overrated ill agree. Come on Provol I expected better from a RC cola man. Dayton may not be D-1 material but he is a player. Coach Lowe must have thought the same by double teaming him most of the night and playing a outside linebacker short on the slants. They took him out of game except for the punt returns. Isn't he just a junior anyways?

Isn't he just a junior anyways? Good post ZCAR and yes Dayton is a junior. I guess every reciever in the KIL is overrated because going into the Powell game he was leading the KIL in recieving yards. Also, like baseballmad said, Lowe had double teams on Dayton all night and I think it was #9 who Lowe had on Dayton's side every single play....The starting corners(#9 and Franklin #1) didn't just go to the same side every time like most corners do, #9 went to Dayton's side of the field literally every play, so obviously he put his best corner and a double team on Dayton all night....He didn't do much against the Panthers because Powell focused on him so much. As Always....Go Big Red!

If you can't tell Powell doesn't pass that much. The only time Powell did was when they played Farragut and Matt Abba had about 7 catches for 100+ yards. littlemn88
if you cant tell halls dont pass the much. dayton is twice the wr as abba, the catch he had in the first quarter was amazing. i do think that he needs to tone down the attitude though. if he was as good as he thought he was then he would be the next randy moss. but yes he is one of the top wr in the area, alond with west's easterly
ProVol90
That is why I was saying Dayton is overrated bc of the attitude! He is pretty Darn good but seriously tone it down unless u get in the endzone twice a game every game!
ZCAR
I couldn't imagine what he would do if Halls would run a two or three receiver set occasionally. This would help Cooper and the running game with Kitts & Kelly to if they continue to use him as a decoy. Baseball, I agree I saw the outside linebacker play very wide to his side most of the night to take out the short pass. Seems like McGaha & Bruhin figured it out also jumping up and knocking down at least two of Cooper passes. I think Powell gave a lot of respect for such a average player. Thiboraux got player of the game from the Powell staff hmm....... I wonder why?
