Powell @ Clinton

Well lets be honest thats all Powell has Huffy and Cruze running the ball. They don't throw that much about like we do at Halls. So if you stop the run you basically stop their whole offense. I just don't think that will happen on a night like this. Now if they put the ball on the ground that might be different. You bet your bottom dollar they will surround Hazelhurst like they did Dayton. They had three kids on him when we played.

I think Powell will mix it up enough tonight to be successful on the ground and in the air. I dont think the rain will effect Powells gameplan tonight. The only thing that it does is make Clinton run the ball more and I would takes Powell's D over Clinton's running attack anyday. I think Powell will also use their spped to beat them since Powell is faster than this team, and Powell hasnt been faster than almost every team theyve played this year.

How did Lee Smith break his jaw? If this is true, I'm sorry to hear it. What a gifted athlete that needs to get some direction in his life.

stinks for Lee Smith i hate that... it dissapoints that all of his talent went to waist at UT... i agree... he does need some direction in his life and i hope that he gets back on the right track but whatever

Hazelhurst is a really good player just don't count any of the other guys out. I think we have a good chance the guys are ready to play. BEST of luck DRAGONS and hang tough.

Clinton-28

Powell-7

If Powell runs the ball, and I hope they do, we can and will stop the run! With the weather the way it is tonight ANYTHING can happen! Expect a defensive struggle. Powell please run the ball, because if you do we got you tonight.

Clinton 14

this is making me sick with the majority picking clinton. Clintons D will not be able to stop kenny cruze, huffaker, tex, and jordan allen. Lets just hope that the O line will step up and get the job. I have no doubt in my mind that Powells D will dominate Clintons O.

Powell- 21

Clinton- 3 or 7

oh and i know who you are Drega.

The GREAT DRAGOON says, "Panthers don't like water but will Dragons fire go out in the rain?". Who knows? Wet field means poor footing, poor tackling, poor running, poor passing and lots of turnovers. Crappy for grounds crew but should be fun as heck to play and watch, that is if you all have a little "kid" inside of you that still likes to play in the mud.

ROLL DRAGONS, I've got my duck boots ready, my rain coat on and I'M READY FOR SOME YUCKBALL!

Yea look for a nasty game on both sides on the ball. With all the rain I see this as a close game with or without Cruze. Powell by 10

    • Im asking everyone to keep roy whited and his family in your prayers. Coach whited won back to back state championships at white county in 98-99. He is very well liked and respected in this area. For those of you that dont know he went missing 3 days ago. No one knows where he is. His truck was found in a rural part of the county. Thanks again. We are all very concerned.
    • West would be a good team to get behind if they can pull it off again like last year. That championship game last year was awesome.
    • I say that because he stepped out of a MUCH better situation on his own than he would see at least his first 3 years at DCA and it would take at least that much to bring him back to coaching. There are other fish in the sea, but again money talks. Need to fix the girls hoops too. Now I'll try again. Who has Pierce locked in for his staff? Hearing a McGavock man but not the Iceman.
    • I’ve heard mostly good things from the gridiron. Lots of optimism. It sounds like the portal has mostly helped, though there are a few expected defections. Comeback year!
    • Rudesell 1 year at Crockett. Coach Tate 2 weeks a Bradford. South Gibson supposedly going with jcs middle school coach. Which isn’t who I thought would get it, I know the top 2 was between him and Obion girls head coach.
