JoeWillie
Which of these teams has a more balanced run/pass offense?
GWAVE1
Hunters Lane has a lot of speed......and they usually play Brentwood very tough even when they are not as talented. Could be the year for a metro victory.
seth k
I've had the privilege of seeing both of these teams play. I saw Brentwood play Smyrna and Hunters Lane play Springfield. The Brentwood team that I saw should not have made the playoffs, but they've improved and they did make the playoffs. I didn't see a faster team than Hunters Lane all year, and it could (and probably will) be a serious problem for Brentwood. Everything points toward a Hunters Lane victory...except one thing: the head coach. Crawford is one of the best in the state, and I think that Brentwood will play a great game and escape with a win. offtackle
I dont think that speed for Hunters Lane will be that big of a factor. They have a physical and great technique o line. They will wide split and run Clay through a and b gap. Their ability to do this will determine the game.
fromthetop2
HL has always been faster than Brentwood. They have the potential to go the distance on any play. Bruins have to play great technique and assignments and tackle well. What works in the Bruins favor is that offensively, they are far more balanced than HL, rushing and passing yards show about a 60/40 split. This is a better running team than Brentwood has featured in a few years. These games have usually been close, and I expect another close one this year. Unless they collapse, I will take a Crawford team as the road underdog.
AlonBabayan
In order for HL to win the must put their athletes in space and take advantage of the speed that they possess. HL doesn't want to get into a "chess move" type game, if that be the case, BHS will win. HL must get up big and early in order for them not to lose. Good Luck to both. CHS 2007
Possibly one of the most intriguing matchups of the first round, because they are 2 pretty similar teams. When the teams are evenly matched, it comes down to coaching and intangibles. Therefore, I give the advantage to Brentwood. Brentwood 20 Hunters Lane
olemiss89
Brentwood will win this game 24 to
shadow
Hunters Lane "WINS" !!!!!!!!
Tank_76
I think Brentwood can pull this one off but they will have to hit HL fullback low and wrap up or he will run through them.
ForumPhantom
Brentwood should be able to beat Hunters Lane, but it will be an interesting game nonetheless.
