He's seriously the best coach in the state and Moore Co. is lucky to have him. Wish he could have stayed at the Academy a while longer though, but Moore Co. will be a state team next year, for sure.

It didn't take Mt. Pleasant long to get cocky. Don't forget where how good your program was before Walt got there!

 

 

I think of all schools Mt. Pleasant should know what a good, young, energetic coach can do for a program. True, Lynchburg doesn't have the same athletes that Columbia has...but I think Moore County will be a lot more competitive.

MC you have gotten an EXCELLENT Coach! He IS missed at Riverdale.

 

Don't know about state THIS year. Give the man a chance to impliment his program there first and it WILL happen though.

Most talent does not always win. The best team wins most of the time. If talent won MP would have already won a few State Titles.

He will develope what talent is there. Not everyone at R'dale is talented, JUST hard workers.

 

Both Coach McDaniels and Coach Britton know how to get the most out of what they have.

 

Winning teams do NOT happen overnight, but dynaties are built upon a solid foundations. Both coaches are excellent foundation builders.
