district 4 AAA

No one has the brackets..dates....game times?

 

This is insane....we're one of the only districts left now where we're totally in the dark, and it's even worse with the girls tournament

Well in the Knoxville News Sentinel they didnt even list the girls games today for district 4 AAA, but they had the guys. ill add the seeds.. this is what i think they are.

(5)Lenoir City @ (4) William Blount

(6)Heritage @ (3)Maryville

(7)Sevier County @ (2) Bearden

 

so i guess the winner of Farragut/South Doyle plays the winner of William Blount/Lenoir City

the winner of Maryville/Heritage plays the winner of Bearden/Sevier County.

 

all games are at 7PM

 

they also had the all district team

i hope i didnt leave anyone out. if the names are spelled wrong or with the wrong team blame the KNS because its from them.(for the girls all district honorable mention they have someone that goes to Bearden listed as if they were from Farragut)....... i assumed Will Akers made 1st team since he was the mvp. they didnt have him listed in the first team area. i didnt feel like typing out the honorable mention.

 

 

i do agree with you TG its ridiculous. i wonder if the coaches have anything to do with it though? they report the games dont they? there was a box score for the last 2 district games for Farragut.

It's frustrating...but I'm not sure who is to blame. I don't know who has the brackets besides the teams and coaches, but surely the newspapers can get ahold of them some way.

 

I posted the first-round matchups and times on the AAA thread, but, I have no idea about the second-round dates or times.

 

Should be some good games tonight!!

i think teh second round games are on Wednesday.. i dunno what times though. prolly 6:30 and 8. but not sure. i guess we will find out eventually.

After beating South Doyle by 20, 34, and 7 the Admirals lose in their fourth game against the Keys.. No im kidding Farragut won 63-52. It was close though.

 

for those wondering when the next round is apparently its on Monday.

Farragut will play the winner of William Blount/ Lenoir City at 6:30 on Monday. thats what the announce said and Farragut's radio guy. 6:30 Monday.

They will play Farragut on Monday, 6:30, @ Maryville.

I saw on the news that Bearden beat Sevier Co. 44-40. so the semis looks like this

 

Bearden vs. Maryville

Farragut vs. William Blount @ 6:30.

 

both games @ Maryville High School. i dont know when the Bearden/Maryville game starts. either 4pm or 8pm.

Interesting match-ups. I'll pick Maryville over Bearden - Douglas is much stronger and more athletic than Simpson (and Maryville has very good size other than Douglas), and Maryville is deeper at guard than Bearden. As for William Blount and Farragut, William Blount has had success against Farragut this year, but Farragut is well again and clicking pretty well. I pick Farragut in another close game.
