Guys, I know this is a b-ball thread but thought you might want to know that Brandon Springer verbally committed to play footbal for the defending OVC Champ UT-Martin Skyhawks. He went on his official visit this weekend and made his intentions known to the staff before departing Sunday. Congratulations to him and good luck in the future. Guess I will be traveling a little more to Martin than Knoxville the next few years. :angry: Oh yeah, on the basketball side the Falcons take on Bradford tomorrow night. Hope someone can keep me updated as I will be in Union City watching the LCMS Falcons taking on Fayette West. Got to support the family!! :lol:

I saw Union City play Fayette-East on Saturday afternoon....They got some big boys .... Fayette-East beat UCMS 56-44...I guess Humboldt is playing them in the semi-final??....

Do you think that Lake Co can beat Fayette West?I saw them play Saturday and they looked pretty good,but they played Three Oaks and i think that they didnt finish very high in the conference.They had a big and very quick team that has 8 to 10 guys that can play.Congratulations to Springer on his decision.I think that he is a very nice young man that not only does good on the court and on the football field,but he also excels in the classroom.I am excited for him and will also make some trips to watch him play and now i hope that he make it to the state this year but only gets a runner up trophy cause im going with my UC guys.LOL.

OC & Chipper, Thanks for your support of Brandon, he is a great young man on and off the gridiron. Haven't got to see Fayette East play, they are playing Humbolt in the semi's and LC is playing Fayette West in the other Semi. I got to see Fayette West while on a scouting trip to Brighton with "my better half" last Wednesday. :thumb: They were VERY athletic and big. Thought they did not hustle much or shoot real well. I think the Falcons have a chance IF they can keep Fayette's big guys off the glass and not turn the ball over. Guys, send your best wishes and root for LCMS tomorrow night because this is ole wardawg's most difficult time of year!! :D It is hard being a spectator. :lol: Updates will be going back and forth from UC to Tiptonville and I will let everyone know how both games turned out as soon as I can.

Good luck to LCMS - I think West and East are good and could sweep LC and Humboldt or it could go the other way as well. . . should be an entertaining night of basketball.

I believe Lake Co has beaten Humboldt all 3 times so far but not sure..but the last game was a barnburner..by 1 point!

      Upperman White County both will be loaded. Dyersbirg and South Side will be a handful as well. Getting about that time in about 3 weeks we start watching summer scrimmages. Dyersburg loaded loaded loaded with talent. Most talent ever I have seen in their program.

      The amount of people pooing on UH is crazy. They're a noticably better team than last year when they made state and were competitive , AND they run ruled Eagleville a few weeks ago. Now I understand Eagleville was missing a few guys, but they still. They. Run. Ruled. Eagleville. 1st single A team to run rule Eagleville since when? Pre 2017??

      If that Yellow Paint is all gone I'll flat bet it didn't wash off there. I bet that took some scrubbing to remove that if it is gone. Lacrosse is one of those northern sports all these misplaced Yankee's that are posion to the community brought in by  (Blount Partnership, ( The Devil) with them so somebody allowed them to paint their markings on the field that cost more than the twenty top people on payroll at Maryville make a year. All this to please the 1% Club and the 25 people that would come to see it. All in the name of WOKE!!!!!!
