It's useless to think we could beat such a perenial powerhouse. We - here in white house don't know a thing about POWER HOUSES - do we?? Obviously Alcoa & Blount County has never been to our field to see all the signage hanging anywhere they can find an empty spot. Maybe we should just forfeit the season - according to what these ignorant people are saying. Just guessing here, but I'd be willing to bet 80% of the starters this year were Sophomores, 5% Juniors & 5% Seniors. I know that doesn't add up to 100%, but Freshaman played & subs here & there. Alcoa - get ready - you will face a team in White House that will make you sore & dread returning to the practice field the next Monday. I know one of you will have something cocky to say back, but mark my word - you are underestimating us. I think we will win, but guaruntee nothing - any given Friday - anything can happen. You will go to the school of hard knocks with the hard hitting devils though - & you'll never forget it. It will stick in your mind more than a championship

i guess they just won't know until that friday night, but i can already see their posts, yall were right we were wrong, we just got spanked etc., but it will be fun laughing at yall

White House has great tradition, you shouldnt judge a program based on state championships alone. And how does Smyrna get no respect from anybody ?? Im sure Alcoa would walk all over Smyrna as well according to those rankings.

I think the rankings were prior to the last games. Also remember Alcoa beat McCallie who beat Riverdale, who spanked Smyrna in the first game.

Look at any way U like White house has a above average program. Alcoa's program is one of the best in the State.

Well of course, the payne's at the corners, parker at safety, and anyone can play that other safety. rumor has it that jeremy barnes the real good b-ball player is playin again and he may fill that spot.

How can YOU sit and TELL where anyone will play NEXT year? This is how things get started and this is what KEEPS the YOUNG MEN from striving. I dont think ANYONE has a set position and seeing what you type all the time YOUD think youd know better. I AM A MOM of one of he players and I KNOW FIRST HAND NOTHING IS A GUARANTEE...Mine a SOPHOMORE was a STARTER, with an injury put him back, and have watched him go from one position to the next. The players you mentioned are AWESOME no doubt but SET POSITIONS think ya need to BACK of the PIPE... I feel next year is wide open and also see alot of changes. You mentioned a B-ball player well he has to EARN the positon B-ball and Football are TOTALLY different sports!!!!

It takes schedules into account. Fulton didn't win by much, same with Maryville.

However the bottom line is "No poll has White house higher than 112th team in the state. Thats a long way from top 10.

A bunch of big white boys want stop Alcoa. Ride down the ridge and ask Goodpasture.

They have had a chance at the Gold Ball twice and was crushed by Alcoa.
