I don't care who is coaching these two teams they will not win. you have to have players to win. having a good coach is just a plus

One of their best players ever joined the coaching staff this year. He may help turn it around. They have some good athletes in Hardin Co., some just don't play basketball for whatever reason.

Justin Burdine is the new coach. Justin Flatt left NC State and now plays for UT Martin. He was the starter coming into the the season, but now I think he's the sixth man.

Yes, Flatt now comes off the bench at UTM - left NC State after the first year there figuring out the PT wasn't going to come anytime soon.

 

To answer the name of this thread, Rudesill has been privy to some of the better talent in the state. However, Wayne Chism was a big baby with the dangerous "tremendous upside potential" label on him until he went to Bolivar. Rudy does a fantastic job, has two gold balls, and took the ladies to the state in the second year he was in charge of them as well.

rudesill is a white guy coaching at a black school who has developed a strong relationship with his kids. many white coaches are unable or unwilling to do this....and he has "some" knowledge of the game but it is his ability to relate that does the trick. i saw him coach at the state and he did nothing but sit. jimmy adams did nothing but sit as well. but both were there in the finals.
