One team showed up and the other one did not. Lebanon managed to finish on the few chances they had and Warren County missed a bunch and I do mean a bunch of opportunities to put the game out of reach and did not. Score was 2 to 1 Warren County with about eleven minutes to go and Lebanon scored two goals to take the lead and then hold on for the last eight minutes. Warren County got a late goal but it was called off because the player was in the offsides position when he received the ball. Good luck to everyone else on the rest of the tournament.

Not trying to whine because the game is over and there's nothing we can do anything about it, but when Travis recieved the ball he scored on, it was a deflection off of the keeper which makes him onsides. When the ball deflected off of the keeper Travis wasn't offsides. He may of been offsides but the ball was never played to him, he played it off the keeper's deflection from a shot.......Good Luck to Cookeville just play your game boys, hope to see you win it all.

    • I'm not a Powell grad.  I am a Bearden grad.   My son and daughter are Powell grads.   I did radio play by play for Powell, my last year was 2013. I also did radio play by play for South Doyle, and my last gig was at Maryville before I retired.   My oldest grandson plays in the Karns Middle program, so I see more Karns games than I do Powell these days.  I've been to 3 Powell games since 2013.   I don't have any ties to Powell, haven't since 2013.   No "y'all" there.    And the kid you are talking about does have a very good arm, but he's not the QB that Deuce Rogers is.  Rogers is a legit dual threat guy.  The younger kid now at Clinton, or about to be at Clinton, isn't the dual threat that Rogers is.
    • No sir. I watched it specifically and it was very dirty. He cleated the boy on purpose. Apparently, it’s an issue in football as well from what several schools have said. That said, looking forward to a good game 3. ER hit it well in game 2.
    • He is the transfer. 5star spoke on him in their new qb1 series. Didn’t list em as a transfer but I knew the name
    • Gunner Warren was the second starter, freshman. SP #1 arm impressed me last night.
