I think that Stone will have a hard time matching up with Elizabethton's size. Stone can shoot, but I think that rebounds and points in the paint will be the key.

Stone Memorial was one of our HOF games and they beat us. I missed the Elizabethton game. I would think they would have only improved as GHS did. Should be a good game.

Stone Memorial is located in Crossville. A brand new school.

I have seen both teams play Stone will not be able to compete with Eliz. inside game. Stone will have to shoot the long ball and hope they are on because 1 shot is all thier gonna get Eliz bye 10...

From what I hear Stone Memorial is a very good team. But that is to be expected in a sectional game.

There aren't any average teams still playing at this stage!

Having only Stone Memorial's record and lineup, it's difficult to know what to expect. Of the fifteen players rostered, the Lady Panthers dress Six Freshmen and Three Sophomores; two Senior shooting guards and four juniors; so, as should be expected from a new school, the Lady Panthers are Young.

 

But, here's the thing that really stands out: Except for Austin East - 0 and 3, including the Regional Final, the Lady Panthers defeated every team they played. They split with Oliver Springs, York Institute, Loudon and Clarkrange, All are very good teams.

 

The Lady Panthers have two at 5'11" - - a Freshman and a Sophomore.

They list one at six-feet, and one at six-one; both Sophomores.

So, though not a small team, the big players are awfully young. Advantage - Elizabethton.
