Rankings Week 5

Sequoyah 2-2 Sweetwater.

 

Sweetwater scored in first twenty minutes, and about 10 minutes later they got another. One was a great shot from way outside the box, another from closer in, but the ball went off a player's foot after our goalie was already diving.

 

But we got a goal right before half, keeping the ball on their half for the last while of the half. Then Second half was about even, with chances from both teams. But again, in the end of the half we kept it on their side. With ten minutes left, we got an equalizer. Played hard, hoping for the 3rd, and winning, goal, but couldn't get it.

 

Still a good tie to come from two down.

Anytime you can come back to tie from 2 down is a great accomplishment. Congrats.

Portland wins the Wendy's Cup, going 4-0 through the week. Gets White House tonight in a rivalry match. Tough way to finish a five game stretch, but should be a good one nonetheless.
