Bravey
cant believe you asked that question ..... Maryville is on top to stay ..every year ... take it to the bank !!
ruse?
Maryville. Too many weapons. Central. No way do I count these guys out. Wilson could be the next big time back out of Knoxville. Styles is perhaps top 3 receivers in the area, and McMillian is a dual threat QB. How will Tyler Smith, Brandon Vannoy, and Nick Saah come along up front? Defense needs to replace a lot. Depth could be factor. Central could wind up with many going both ways. West. If Ryan, Easterly, and now Wagner, get timing down, and OL develops early, they could be tough. Slow out of the gate in scrimmage at GP, but looked better later. Could be best West team in quite a few years. Halls, Lenoir City, Clinton, Powell, SD fight it out for #4. ZCAR
Agree on Maryville being untouchable. Central being #2. ???? Didn't West beat them 30-7 last year. I think West should be a easy pick at #2. Central is big but a lot of questions remain on defense. Agree on Wilson and maybe a potential playmaker in Styles. Central lost a lot of good athletes last year so they should fit nicely at #3. Only reason I'll say Halls gets fourth is they beat up on Clinton, Lenoir City & South Doyle last year for a combined 88-14 spread. Powell I hear is struggling losing there big name players and this has put them were Halls were last year with little experience. Halls is young and improving steadily. Clinton could over take Powell next year at #5. Well see but I think some surprises will occur this year.
REBELRON
Maryville,Central and West will be the top 3 teams. Halls,Powell,Clinton and South Doyle will fight it out for the 4th spot. Lenoir City will probably come in last.
Solomon
I have heard rumblings that some believe this may be the best Maryville team yet. West should be very good. I think they are quite capable of making a run in the playoffs. They should be able to score, but how good is their D? Don't know much about Central and ever less about the others, except that SD apparently has the formula for beating Maryville.
rebel9db
West and Maryville will be a great game i think with the trios of Ryan/Easterly/Wagner and Burnette/Douglas/Shiver man that will be a fun game to watch West D in the GP scrimmage seemed better than the O which started out groggy but they should be much more balanced than years past Halls will be third and central prob 4th
STARSNBARS
QUOTE(rebel9db @ May 30 2007 - 02:11 PM) 826469179[/snapback]West and Maryville will be a great game i think with the trios of Ryan/Easterly/Wagner and Burnette/Douglas/Shiver man that will be a fun game to watch You might want to add the receiving trio of Clendenen, Clement, and Jordan to the other Mairvul trio. Mairvul's backs will be smaller this yeer, but they ort to to be cat quick. Mairvul still wins a lot of games upfront and the Rebel D-Line of Justin Smith, Marcus Englehardt, Todd Hollingswoth, Josh Cantwell, Brent Wadham and Co. will be very good. Solomon is right, the South Doil coach definately has the formula and I look fer him to unleash it agin all of reejun 3 4-A this yeer. centralfan90
central's playmakers have improve a ton this spring, styles could emerge as a top receiver in knoxville, wilson could be the best RB in knoxville IMO and since jonny sahh's injury wilson will get alot more carries, mcmillan has gotten bigger faster and stronger from what i saw in the A-E scrimmage and their spring game he was running over people in those games and his arm has gotten alot stronger, and his brother wyl could be a top safety in knoxville
