that happend in 05 and yes we shouldnt have got beat but thats why u line up and play but coming off a semi final season and few player changes you have to be confident dyersburg will role along this year as well

Yea I do think, believe, and hope Dyersburg does make it very far.... IMO this will be one of the best Dburg teams in awhile...Good Luck to you guys

dyer county /roflolk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflolk:" border="0" alt="roflolk.gif" /> please they lost all they had last year (Flowers) acording to lake county and trenton both teams totaly killed dyer county in their 7on7 league, lake county got creamed by obion in the spring so saying dyer county will make the playoffs is like counting obion in its not going to happen. if any team makes the playoffs it might be ripley

1 DYERSBURG

2Covington

3Crockett

4 Haywood or Ripley

dyercounties only prair was a kid named mcklin from dyersburg who got in trouble and moved up north they have no tail back that can run. B.A davis is all they have.... and when your getting blown away in 7 on 7 you cant pass that well eather

Don't know where you got your information but Lake Co did not get creamed by OC in the spring. The score was 3 to 2.

lake county won the fight but got beat in the scrimmage, just ask some of the lake county die hards like mr bigster and wardawg

bigster wasn't there cause he was asking on here how the Falcons did and wardawg was probably in Chattanooga with his Purple Pounders.......I wasn't there either...All I do know is Central won and there were a couple of fights.....But like falconfan said,it doesn't really matter it was a spring game.....

My prediction for this region is....

1-Dyersburg

2-Covington

3-Ripley

4-Haywood or Crockett Co

Dont you love the way people vote dyer county nore will obion win the region. one of the top 4 will win, Dyersburg, crockett, covinton , or haywood will win this region

Does it matter how people vote.....The games are played on the field.....Dyersburg will win the region, but let people vote how they want to....Good luck to my Rebels this year.....I know ya'll will be down, but just keep fighting and prove alot of people wrong!

GO REBELS!!!

Can Covington beat everyone else in the region besides Dyersburg

if dyersburg doesnt bring there A-game covington can beat them as well, it will depend on injury on how this region will fall in place.

dyersburg has the most depth at the skill positions, then covington, haywood, crockett. I dont realy know what ripley has They lost all their stud linemen. this is my prediction on how the region should end up.

1 Dyersburg

2 covington

3crockett

4 haywood (tomcats have alote of talent comming back but the top 3 teams will out coach the tomcats) (it depends on when you play haywood as well they come on strong tawords the end of the season)

5 ripley ( may be a sleeper and slip in the 4th spot)

6th & 7th will be a battle to see who isnt the worse team in the region it will probley be dyer county in 6th and obion in 7th both teams will be lucky to win 3 games

Gotta say crockett....we did lose a lot of good players last year but there is gonna be sum guys step up this year and people are gonna be like whos this guys ..guess he was 2 or 3rd string last year.. hes good. The guys at cavalier stadium have been workin hard..went by the other night at 9:30 the stadium lights were on and from wat i could tell all the players still there. I think pa will take wat hes got and turn them in to a solid team!!

    • They’ve both gotten worse. I’ve seen enough games to know that.
    • The only two transfers that Bearden has gotten that went on to play college football were a defensive back from Karnes, who transferred here way before the new coaching staff got here, and a running back from Carter, who went on to play at Maryville College. Both players received those offers while at Bearden, and both players got a diploma from Bearden High School. Therefore, they are Bearden kids, and you can’t do anything about that.   The transfer from Seymour didn’t win the job, what do you expect two quarterbacks to start at the same time? He played great on JV when he could stay healthy, and when he came in on varsity, he did great. The quarterback position is definitely going to be in good hands when the current starting quarterback leaves, but until then, they’re just going to be battling it out like every good quarterback competition does. The current starting quarterback has his flaws, and that is in the pass game, but what he doesn’t have flaws is running and scrambling, and if you go back and watch any game, which I’m sure you didn’t watch any, we used him very often, and when we needed a deep ball, we brought in the transfer from Seymour. The starting quarterback last year will be a senior this year, and the Seymour transfer will be a junior, so the Seymour transfer is definitely going to get his spotlight. He may even win the job this year. Football isn’t about who the newspaper thinks is the best kid. The best kid in the position will win the starting job, and I trust the coaching staff more than a newspaper or article to pick my starting QB.
    • I mean, we’ve only gotten two transfers that went on to play college football, one who went to UT Martin came his second semester junior year before the new coaching staff was here, and the other one went on to play at Maryville College, in which I don’t believe he had any interest prior to transferring.
    • An FYI: To see how an opponent has done against another opponent since 2001- go to the game by clicking on one of the teams. Click the G beside the game. For example, Milan: The info will show you the previous matchups and other info.
    • All these college signees went yo other schools for 3 years, were getting college offers then transferred to Bearden. It’s not like this staff did much to develop them.    The BBall coaches son and the Seymour transfer were some of the most talented QBs in the region, and you guys developed them into QBs who might complete one pass a game.
