Oak Ridge and Farragut go to California

Had it been Maryville, Fulton, or Alcoa they might have covered it. Nothing against those three, but anytime they go to the bathroom it is mentioned. They are all champions though.

regardless of the outcome, for two teams from region 2 to make it to nationals is incredible.....great experience for both teams

 

 

 

FYI fulton wasnt in contention for this trip, due to the fact Farragut shut them out in the quaterfinals at UT

The teams that Oak Ridge played were: Crespi California, Plant Florida, Altoff Indiana, Pahokee Florida and Seabreeze Florida.

Plant City and Pahokee won state titles in their class in Florida last year.

Did expenses come from the booster clubs or was there some sponser that funded it? Sounds like a great experience for both teams to be able to travel out west. They didn`t bring home any trophies, but the memories are priceless.

From what I heard Adidas paid the tab for 16 people to go. There were some parents that wanted their kid to go and were willing to pay the tab but there were lodging issues (no room at the inn and noone to chaperon, like our kids needed a chaperon) so they weren't allowed to go.

 

Hey Voice what was the score of the last game? And do you think Ole Dad knew about it? Haven't heard much out of him lately.

The Voice had me on top of this prior to the event. I am just recharging and waiting on "the Dark Times" to end. That is the time from the end of college basketball to the start of college football.
