Rebalumni
Mckenzie will be a serious contender this year.
VOLnWTN
It is hard to say at this point. I heard that they are getting back one of their tailbacks they lost year before last and that could make a big impact. The big questions is who is going to step and catch the ball from Carr this year. Both Rogers and Smith are gone. For sure don't underestimate the Rebels. BulldawgDynasty
what players will standout this year?and how far can they go this year? Seems to me McKenzie does better when they dont have the huge stand out players and just a good stand out team. I imagine yall kinda liked winning a lot last year. I'll be rooting for you to do the same this year.
Butchie
This is just a lil thing to watch for. Last year was fun. had a great time watching. But if Carr doesn't see the field better and mix the ball around look for a long season with an early playoff exit. Last yr woulda been different if? Carr had not set on one receiver. Kendall Smith, O.C. Bug and others were open there was no need to press the ball into double and triple coverage. And why the heck wasn't the Johnson kid put in to run when French went down? I guess 'm still bitter because we shoulda been wearing another champ ring besides baseball. But all things considered Mckenzie has the tools in place. I think the defense will be sweltering and an answer for Rodgers and Smith are already there. Carr needs to remember short passes are what won the super bowls for Dallas. Eventhough he catches a 5 yard pass Carr you still get the yards from his run. But good luck to the Rebels and I'm coming to the games. See ya soon. VOLnWTN
I agree with you Butchie on the Johnson kid. Very brite spot last year when he got to run the ball. I also agree with you on the short passes. Its nice to see the nice bomb but the short game can kill you. Sitting in the stands last year (of course its easier to see) but the quick slants were there every game. This is just a lil thing to watch for. Last year was fun. had a great time watching. Shouldn't Darius Ridings be back to playing this year??? I knew he got in some trouble and I saw where he was playing basketball....If Darius will be back that'll be a pretty big help on defense!!! Butchie
Not for sure on the Riding subject, but he would be an asset. I think Tyler Moore is returning. If so maybe he can keep himself straight. But again Good luck to the Rebels this season. Johnson, I was told, was injured as well during the last game against JCS. I'm not sure of this but woulda liked to see a better finish to our season. Atleast I will have the pleasure of watching him this season. But til then good luck to all.

IMHO I think if Darius was able to play basketball this past season he should be on the football field this year...I sure wish he was still at Gibson Co. thats for sure!!!
