when you get 8000 plus you can bet there will be something happen, it happens ever year regardless where the game is at. Parking will be a problem, people need to get there early.

Back to the game, Coffee's def has gotten better ever week, look for the same this week.

Just how good is Coffee County's secondary. Tullahoma will spread the field pretty good, I don't know if Coffee can stop the passing game, if so Tullahoma can mix it up with their running game which seems to get better each week. Can Tullahoma stop Coffee's running game?? If that happens Tullahoma will win. Will Coffee County go for it on 4th down on their on 20 yard line?? It should be a very close and hard fought game but I think this one will come down to coaching and Tullahoma has the edge in this department. Tullahoma 28 Coffee County 20.

Some valid points, but to answer your question. As of late we, Coffee Co., have been punting and doing a great job at it. Coffee showed against a good Cookeville team that they are up for the challenge. Alot of people had been picking against Coffee Co. last week in the Cookeville game, and Coffee Co managed to squeak out the victory. Tullahoma better be ready for the three man running team of Goins, Kanjanabout, and Tinsely all three are excellent at what they do and can hurt you in many ways. Goins with his jukes, Tinsley with his never say quit attitude and Kanjanabout with his speed and power. Throw in the factor of them running behind a solid O-Line anchored by the big man himself Robbie Gonzales, and your looking at something Coffee Co has lacked, and that's run support. I say if Coffee Co. continues to mix thier plays up like they did against Cookeville, then it is quiet possible that they can keep T-town off balance. Good luck to both teams Friday and let's bring home that ever so elusive Coffee Pot Raiders!!!!

where does Robbie Gonzales line up on the o-line and just how big is he? Has he had any offers from a division one school?

    • A lot of people don’t realize how valuable JMO was. QB, safety, punter and holder on pat’s. Kid did it all. I fully believe if he was healthy Dburg would have made it to the ship last year.
    • If Dyersburg quarterback who is also starting safety hadn’t got hurt it would of another blowout
    • For perspective the county school I’m associated and graduated from only has 7,600 people in the entire county with a median age of roughly 47. That’s not very many 14-18 year olds to choose from. I think the football team had 25-28 kids or around there.  On the other hand Shelby County has 916,000+ with a median age of 36. This isn’t just about Shelby county, but all the big ones with huge economic advantages!  An urban/rural split would benefit tons of smaller schools that have to compete with counties with 120x the amount of people. Especially the ones who can pick and choose their players from a pool like that!   I also agree with Pujo about charter and magnets and they will eventually be phased into the private divisions because it is obviously an advantage plus all the funding! Add that county schools can’t go recruit outside of their county like charters and magnets!
    • They should be starting next week and go from there.  They never do Spring Practice in April
