Who's to say Henderson would have scored 25 points that game? Either way you look at it, a 24 point win over the State-Runner up is impressive. Centennial has a big test, and even though HL will be missing a few people due to football, they are still a quality team.

They are not a quality team this year. You guys love to call every game a big test. Hey, great job on winning that scrimmage. That may put you over the top.

And great job on getting killed by the team we beat by 20.

When is the last time you beat Franklin CHS 2007? BETTER YET, WHEN IS THE LAST TIME YOU WON THE DISTRICT?

I guess you are talking trash based on what CHS could potentially do? More power to you. When crunch time comes, (district play), I'd like to see you keep running your mouth. Until then, win all of your out of conference games so our district looks better, oh, and maybe you can get the award for "Best out of conference Record". Let me know how that award works out!

LaVonte Henderson did play against Centennial, and they still lost. Clarksville is missing their football players so they are thin in the post. I did see Centennial lose to a terrible Northwest team at Harpeth last weekend though. Indy beat Clarksville last year in a Christmas tournament, but never even made it to the region. I guess you never know!

Is Northwest really terrible? I heard they are actually supposed to be allright this year.

Indy-48

Maplewood-64

Indy held with them in the 1st quarter but big man Robert Wade took over the game. Blake Carden led Indy with 18 points with Casey Consiglio also in double digits with 10. The whole Indy team made some very careless turnovers and just can't control the paint. The Eagles are going to live and die on the 3 this year.

centennial played great ball tonight...now i comment on the whole game, i got there mid-way through the 3rd quarter.

i have no stats to offer, but will say centennial looked pretty impressive, not just saying that because i go there, but all round they played great ball. Preston Stroop had an awesome second half, and would he was the difference maker. something like 15 points, 4 blocks, 10+ rebounds, and several steals. Drew Kelly from what i saw had a typical Drew Kelly night...the guards Ty Jones and Allante McLemore, looked sharp, made great passes inside to drew and travis, allante hit an NBA range 3 over (i think it was) #20 that really got the ball rolling in the 4th.

cant wait until we get into districts so we'll shut all guys up. centennial is the real deal this year.

Franklin beats Stratford by 19. It was a 30 pt margin with 6 minutes to go, then FHS cleared the pine. What to take from this you ask? Hall of Fame games are over, the season starts Monday. I guess everybody is playing for second place though considering the way the CHS crew on here assumes the district is all but locked up. This is the first time a district championship has ever been won in November, that's amazing!

The final is in....

after being down 10 at the half, Ravenwood came back to lead Page by 4 and then Houston Bagsby hit a huge 3 with 38 seconds remaining. After the three, the momentum swung to Page and they scrapped a loose ball and called a time out. Out of the time out Brad Finney drove and pulled up for the game winner. The Raptors tried a running three to win it but they could not pull it out.

Keith Morris fouled out with 7 minutes remaining in the 3rd Quarter. (huge problem)

Ravenwood 45

Page 46

Don't really know what happened. I was stunned to say the least.

The Raptors take on Culleoka on Monday. Redemption???

The Raptors defeated them last year 60-56. Let's wait and see.

Ravenwood lost to Page and they are supposed to win the district? You must be crazy. Page has won like 15 games in three years.

Phillyfan: where are you? Nice rebound tonight, the Rebels played well in "metro". Still though, you are missing some post play homeboy. These centennial fans are crackin up im here, they think 2 Hall of Fame game wins mean a state title is around the corner! Haaaaa, jokes on them.

    • Gleason all over west Carroll in scrimmage. Gleason is big and fast
    • Defending 2A state Champs Westview Lady Chargers are pretty tough. They lost a bunch of production off last year's squad but returned some talent as well. They still McCall Simms, a Tennesseee Lady Vol softball commit as well as solid talent around the diamond. I dont think they are as good as last season but they will definitely be a tough out. Huntingdon Lady Mustangs seem to be pretty stout as well. Don't know much about Riverside other than Westview defeated them earlier in regions. West Tennessee softball is pretty solid all around id say.
    • Eagleville couldn’t catch up to Jones, he did have his location issues but in that game Eagleville popped up everything and the one hit they did have could have been ruled an error. Jeffcoat was a lot sharper in the beginning of the season last year than the end. ER ran out of pitching and still was in striking distance but none the less the better team one. Last seasons tournament was A LOT more balanced and talented. South Pitts starter is a Lefty who was low 80’s but couldn’t maintain his velo throughout the  outing, their #2 was more impressive last year, we knocked him around this year and his mph was down some. Their #3 isn’t bad neither, throws a lot of strikes and sits high 70’s.
    • He actually had a really solid spring.  I could see him getting some backup snaps on offense and be a regular on special teams.  Really athletic kid who can run.
