Gerry Bertier
Well it is that time of year again all you 2A football fans. Time for the annual playoff pickem contest. Every year this is a competitive contest with the best and brightest of coacht members participation. This year the contest hopes to have record numbers with the new playoff format implemented by the TSSAA. With their new system in place, the official Gerry Bertier 2A Playoff Pickem Contest Board of Directors has decided to take the contest into a new direction. They like to call it Survivor. The winner of the contest will recieve a phantom gift package that included a 4 day 3 night vacation to any 3rd world country of choice, $ 50 gift certificate to Bath and Body works, and their own 30 minute talk show every 5th Sunday of the month on the station of their choice. Rules and Regulation for 2007 1. Contestants must make all picks for every round including the championship game score. Any post that has been edited after 11:59 PM Thursday will be voided. 2. At the end of each round the bottom 20% of the contestants will be eliminated. (For example you have 50 contestants, 10 will be eliminated) This promotes a competitive nature never experienced in the contest before. 3. Tiebreaker for being eliminated. Each week, the board of directors will pick one game for every contestant to pick the total points for that game. The game of the week will be posted in this post by Monday of each week. For those contestants that tie, this combined points will be used to determine who is eliminated. If two contestants are still tied the contestant with the most posts will win out. The Board of Directors feel it is important to favor those veteran CoachTers. 4. Points for each Correct Answer (Notice the Increase in Points) 1st Round- 2 pt. 2nd Round- 4 pt. 3rd Round- 8 pt Semi-Finals- 16 pts. Finals- 32 pts. If there are any more questions please direct them to the Board of Directors (ie Gerry Bertier) Good Luck and let's make this a successful contest.
