tricitiessportsfan
I think in the rain, the advantage is push. Andre and Chris seem to run in the same north/south manner, but Andre is better at it in being a senior.
owlfanatic
Great thread! Now if it were to rain Friday night, who would you give the advantage or the disadvantage to? Just looking for others opinions, I don't think it is suppose to, but what if? Would the rain work to DB's advantage in slowing Andre down? I haven't seen this kid play but I heard he was a stud!I don't know how much it would affect Chris he runs north-south mostly. Roll Tribe Roll!!!! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> This kid could run in jello! He is an amazing athlete. If DB can't stop him, it will be a long night. I wish both teams good luck with an injury free game. Be proud of your teams, win or lose. Some of us would love to have been in round 2 of the playoffs, we just have next year to look forward to instead. Good Luck guys!
maroonandgrey
I take responsibility for it. I can't remember who started the Sensabaugh v. Sterling thread a few months ago, wasn't me, but it was ludicrous. I guess my attempt at humor and jest at the end of one of my posts struck some on the Farragut side the wrong. Oh well, what can we adults do with students posting without a pre conceived notion? Got to love the sports writers, their logic is about as good as Hooples. My apologies. I thought you had mentioned that you had started that thread. My fault.

Your right, if DB can't stop him it could be a long night. I still think, like someone mentioned on the other thread, the game will come down to the battle between the Farragut defense and the DB offense. Farragut will score, they proved they could against good defenses in Region 2. DB can score as well, maybe not at will, but score nonetheless. The players at DB this year are gamers, I will give them that. Farragut may have an abudence of talent with college prospects, but DB too has quite a few "football players" if you understand my meaning. Hopefully the weather cooperates. Should be a great night for football.

The 1st TD against Oak Ridge was scary, he uses the lethal stiff arm Graham alldued to in the paper. Excellent website by the way.
ihavenofriendzz
You sould read more of what other people post rather than just ramble on about senseless things. NO WHERE on this thread will you find me ranting and raving how great DB is or how the other team should even bother to show up, so I will not see any need to remove my foot from my mouth. Bearden and William Blount have more class in thier smallest toe than you will ever possess! Too bad some fans give thier schools classless reputations! I know that none of the Farragut players possess these ridiculous attitudes, that some on here demonstrate. Good Luck to both teams!!!!!! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> Indians: Give it your all, Play like there is no tomorrow then we will see what happens. Two teams enter, One team advances. We are "D-B"!!!!!!!!!!! I did misread that thing about the crow though. I figured you were meaning just Farragut fans would eat crow therefore implying that DB would win, when in fact you just meaning whoever loses there will people eating crow.. I see.. It wasn't pointless rambling though.. How was I classless.. what are you even talking about? NOWHERE on this thread will you find me saying anything about DB not having to show up because they would lose..So I am not allowed to say that a DB fan should eat crow if they lose? I have no crow to eat.. I am not garaunteeing an Admiral victory. Bearden fans have less class than any school I know. Apparently you have not dealt with them before.. where's the love?
Ihavenofriendzz, you have not been disrespectful. I have seen you maintain respect for the DB program. You have your thoughts on the game. Both sides have those who border on the side of obnoxious, but you haven't been one of them as far as I have read. As far as the game, I love the fact that DB is the underdog in this game. Usually they are the favorite. Farragut is a very strong team and deserve the credit they have been given. I am sure DB kids will come with a chip on their shoulder because no one is giving them much of a chance. This team is very hungry because people critisized them when they were down. They have been playing with passion all season. They have had some bad bounces and lost some games. They may not get the bounces Friday night, but I believe Farragut will know that they were in for a fight. It is very possible, and I believe that DB will be travelling back to Knoxville next week to take on the Bearden/WB winner.

Correct me if im wrong on this one but the kid#18 that misses on the stiff arm........does he get up and almost catch Sterling at the end of the play on the dive? Tribefb
My apologies to those who started the other thread, however it is very evident that it has gone beyond ridiculous. Let's try to keep the talk til tomorrow night on this thread to game talk only. I guess this thread was asimulated back into the original thread.Looks to be a pretty cold friday night,I call it football weather. Maybe the january spring practice will pay some dividends for Dobyns Bennett.
