What I trying to say is I'm Proud of the direction Lookout Valley is going in Football. It has been a up hill battle. When we had 15 to 17 players it was tuff! I do have alot of respect for all Region 4 teams. This is my second kid to go thru and he will enjoy it also. So GOOD LUCK TO ALL REGION 3 and 4 TEAMS!!!!!!!

 

 

I agree. It was a constant struggle to keep kids on the field. Many came out in spring, few would return. It is amazing that we have turned the program around, and it has a pretty good foundation for the future. Credit goes to the coaching staff after Pickett left, and the 05 team that paid their dues and worked hard to turn the team into what it is today. Now football is something to be proud of down here, not just something to pass the time till baseball. I guess the GV people just wouldnt understand where we come from on that.

I went to watch GV practice today. I couldnt find the team. I ask around and they were in the gym practicing basketball. Getting a head start. So much for confidence. Oh well you cant win them all. It was TODAY, however, that LOS TIGRES went to the Owl den of Smith County to practice. Thanks to coach Maynard and the guys across the river for letting our boys use that fine facility. Good luck to the Owls on their rematch with York. Gotta keep both our schools representing for this county.

It was told that it was built on county land,owned by the county,and that the county was paying all the ulities on it,so if the county pays for ulities ans etc.,then shouldn't it belong to the county?
