Pickett with 2 starters out blow out Grace Academy

Pickett has never lost to Clay by 50...and as for the refs, Pickett got a technical too. Sounds like Clay Co. uses the excuse it was the refs "helping" Pickett Co. because they say that all the time instead of admitting they just got beat. One ref was former Livington coach McCoin, another Ledbetter, from Jamestown and is a Livingston detective and his son was a great player at York. Both are excellent refs. If they allowed personal bias to make their calls, they would hardly be fans of Pickett Co. Neither would ruin their reputations to "help" Pickett Co. Grace got away with a lot of holding and grabbing and the refs let them play.

You have to be 40 points better than PC to go in there and get a win its that bad! Two years ago Clay Co. beats Pickett by like 50 at home and then we go up there and squeak out a win by 1. We'll git another one up there this year cause were THAT good! We no how to gard them. You git up in their face and don't let them sit out there and shoot the 3. Ya'll will never git a call coming from Chattanooga to Pickett so you can forget that. It don't take much to git throwd out at Pickett thats for sure. and your right Pickett will git on here and complain more about the refs than anyone ever but its funny they never say anything about there home cookin they git up there only when they loose then the cry babies hit the message boards specially pc10 now theres a whiner for ya!!!

Pickett's weakness was supposed to be lack of height, especially if TC Capps got into foul trouble, and no depth. Tonight we saw neither is true. The Bobcats most likely won't face a taller team the rest of the year and had little problem with Grace's huge height advantage. McMasters had several blocks, but not double figures, plus our boys got around him for layups quite a bit. Also, the bench has a lot of talent and when Capps and Sells get back, they'll go 8 or 9 deep. It was great to see Pickett back to the fast paced game...this is the quickest Bobcat team in years in my opinion.

 

Oh he had atleast 10 blocks....probably more. He had five on Jacob alone.

1.You are insane, Clay Co never has beat PC by 50. 2. Learn how to spell, your horrible posts are turning fans that don't even like PC into PC fans. 3. Its called home court advantage, you would know what it was if your team was as good as ours is every year....you have to be good for xx number of years before you get it. And last night was not a product of the refs.....Mccoin and Goose are not PC fans. Goose really dislikes PC and dislikes Bibb even more. McCoin went to LA so he isn't a fan either. Oh and you will NOT get a win at PC this year, they have looked that good in their two games so far. You Clay and Jackson Co. people complain about how arrigant pickett co. people are, when you are just as bad if not worse, with no previous hardware to back up your arrigance. We have 2 state titles, 1 runner up, and 3 MR. Basketballs.....what have you ever won? Thats why when you beat us you run on the court, you get on here and talk smack, its like you've won a state tournament, because thats how special beating us is to you....but we wait til tourny time, we beat you, we go to substates/state tournaments and we laugh at you all off season. If we get such great ref calls in the upper cumberland and at home, how come during the regular season last year TC couldn't stay in games, but when tournament time rolled around and we had neutral crews from other parts of the state he didn't foul out once? Thats kinda funny, sounds like the crews around here are more out to get PC then to help them. You talk about pc10 fussin about calls, you Clay/Jackson fans are as bad or worse....give me a break. And you have no idea how to guard Jacob or TC.

R3VOLU71ON, if you had read the coaches lips then you would obviously know that he said nothing to warrant 1 let alone 2 technical fouls. You should not get on here and imply that he said something otherwise. If you would like a transcript to get your story straight I could provide you one. The officiating was bad, as usual, but it had no impact on the game. PC proved what hustle and playing like a team can do. They were under sized and of the two teams less talented, but the fourth quarter was a basketball clinic. They were disciplined, well coached and fundamentally sound. They will be around come playoff time.

This guy is a moron. Getting beat by 6 or 8 to AAA White Co. isn't a beat down. I read some where they are the 4th best team in all of middle tennesee, thats in all classifications. Pickett hung right with them and WC didn't have their best game, I'll give them that...but if Clay co. plays WC this year( don't know if they do, haven't seen the schedule) they'll get blown out of the water.

White Co. will be in the Cookeville classic again this year. Is Pickett in it? What about Clay Co.? Anybody know what teams are in it? That will prob. be the only chances of any of these teams meeting again.
