When you go to a championship game, and lose that game, then you therefore FAIL to win that game, right? When something is not done efficiently, it fails. They lost to LA by 15, Fulton by 10. DL FAILED to beat those two teams, on that given day. No disrespect to the Mustangs. They have a great school, with a great tradition, and a great coach. I didn't mean to sound harsh, but fail simply means "to fall short of success or achievement in something expected, desired, attempted, or approved" in the dictionary. DL desired the last two State games, and they attempted, but they fell short. That word isn't harsh or too strong at all to use.

Your comments indicated that Lipscomb has been a failure in the recent Championship games, thus you would label them as failures in Murfreesboro. We got the gest. Hey we LOST those games. It wasn't that we failed to win...we LOST those games. We didn't excute our game plan(s) and the better teams who executed their game plan won on those days. Understand that you didn't mean to show disrespect to the Mustangs and you did not intend to be harsh, but take off your Fulton hat and re-read your original post.

 

Lipscomb knows that they will be considered the underdog and they are ok with that, they have been there and done that bit before.

I saw how Fulton's defense was at pressuring Mason and covering the Pearl Cohn receivers last night. Now I want to see how good Fulton is at stopping the run with guys like Holt, Rogers, & Moneypenny.

 

Fulton better come to play again and quit patting themselves on the back the way that they are right now. David Lipscomb will come to play and deliver some hits...............................HARD HITS!!!!!!
