I thought there were only two technicals. I am almost positive. Vogel and Coach Craig. But the Rebels could not rebound in the second half at all. They couldnt hit a free throw or a three. Waverly did all of that and moved the ball great. Waverly hit 10 threes, and i think 8 were in the second half. 29 point turn around in the second half. Way to go Tigers, you showed a lot tonight.

 

Congrats to SC on hosting a play in game. Good luck in the off season and the season to come.

 

Well I think coach rawlings deserved it more than coach craig. He was out on the volley ball lines jumping. Coach craig said, " there were three walks down there an u didnt call any of them." And he got a T. But all in all waverly played great in the second half. Waverly couldnt miss and SC couldnt hit. O well thats the breaks. Good luck waverly hope you give Sycamore a run for their money.

any team can beat any, any time thats just how sports go. I just believe waverly can pull a upset. if waverly plays like a team then i think they can beat anybody

Coach Rawlings was out on the floor trying to get a time out called. The ref standing not even 5 feet from him wouldn't call it. Of course it was one of the poorest officated games I have ever seen. I thought the last time we played there it was bad and could not get any worse. But I was wrong. Tonight was the absolute worse and we still managed to pull the big win. Our boys did great at keeping and their cool and staying with the game and never got rattled. The refs let this game get totally out of control. If he refs don't start getting some control over these games someone is going to get hurt.

Way to go TIGERS at proving you are the better team!

First off, about the technicals. i agree that rawlings should have gotten it instead of craig. i was sitting behind the benches and when he first went out on the floor he was yelling for a foul. yelling worse than craig was about the 3 walks. and thats all craig said was that they missed 3 walks in a row. the other 2 was an offset technical on earhart and i think jackson. i didnt see what happened but it couldnt have been that much of anything cuz everyone i asked didnt see anything but they called a double-T. and tigermom, yes the refs were bad, but when are they not. see us fans always find some questionable calls to yell about. but we had never had them refs either so i dont kno too much about them.

 

but great year to both teams and great job seniors. SC still had a great season despite losing everyone from last year and i hope the smith brothers help bring some more excitement into next season. waverly shot the lights out of it in the 2nd half, whereas SC couldnt throw one in the ocean all game. great job by waverly and i would like to see yall pull an upset friday night. i hope u shoot the 3 in cheathams gym like u did in ours against sycamore

O'yeah you gotta watch out for that "fly" bug!!!!!! Yes Craig was almost at the scorer's table when he got T'd. Also Rawlings was screaming for a timeout and the official apparently went deaf. Great hops on Coach Rawlings part though. I was sitting at the scorer's table so everything was pretty easy for me to see and hear. Coach Rawlings was screaming for a timeout and nothing more.

ok well i disagree wit that statement.... yea sycamore beat us by wat 64-51 i think. im not reall sure. u mite look at that score and say that wasnt a game at all but that cant be further from the truth. MC was down 2 at half. we tryed our hardest for the upset but couldnt get sycamore was just too good. we had a few defensive lapses in the 3rd and too many missed shots to stay in the game. but anyways good luck to all that are left. i hope whoever goes to regions can win a few games and get to state.

 

 

actually the score was 70- 51 buddy.. yeah yalled play really good the first half but the second half we stepped it up. that was yalls best game out of the 3 is demarcus green playin ball anywhere in college? he has been impressive all three games

Well from everything I have read, congrats Waverly and sounds like y'all played a very good game! I suppose I will try to make it to Cheatham Co. Friday night and watch some ball. I know Humphreys Co. folks are happy, no school till Tuesday! I hope this doesn't "mess with" the players and what not..

amen tigermom the officiating at stewart co both times i've been there was one of the worth i've seen in my days of playing sports. i've been to stewart co to watch the freshman play last year and i was in stewart co. to play agaist them this year in football. good game by stewart co. good luck to ya'll wavo boys agaist sycamore ya'll can come out with the upset no doubt.

There have been several complaints about the officiating at Stewart County. Aren't those officials from the same association as the rest of the district?
