Region 3 Brainerd over McMinn Central Howard over East Ridge Region 4 Livingston Acadamy over Station Camp White House over Upperman Region 5 CPA over Franklin Road Acadamy Giles Co. over David Lipscomb Region 6 Sycamore over Creek Wood Bolivar over Harpeth Region 7 Dyer Co. over Covington Haywood over Dyersburg Region 8 GW Carver over Mitchell Booker T. Washington over Sheffield
bobthebuilder23
I will only take a stab at 5-8 5: David Lipscomb (loser 5) CPA (winner 5) 6: Sycamore (winner 6 but this is a toss up, they are playing good ball right now) Bolivar (loser 6 but toss up) 7: Dyer Co. (winner 7) Haywood (loser 7) 8: Mitchell (loser 8) BTW (winner 8) Gives us substate match ups of: David Lipscomb @ Sycamore (sycamore wins) Bolivar @ CPA (CPA Wins) Mitchell @ Dyer Co (Dyer Co wins) Haywood @ BTW (BTW wins) 4 of the final 8: Sycamore or Bolivar (depends on who wins the region and doesnt have to go through cpa) CPA Dyer Co BTW

Carver vs. Mitchell -- Sheffield vs. B.T. Washington Don't know much about middle or east. I hear CPA is the real thing. I think DC and Haywood get a substate with DC winning the region but who knows what can happen Sycamore and Bolivar both get substate with Bolivar winning. (Sycamore is headed up by Dyer County's former Coach Pete Froedden for all the people who say he can't win) In Memphis it's a toss up. I like BTW and Mitchell with BTW winning the region. SaintKnute
Dyer County and Covington will be a very fast game. Dyer County should win this matchup again. Dyersburg has to play a very good game to beat Haywwod. I think the Trojans can and will get it done. Playing against a tough D like the Choctaws give and a very tough zone like Northside did Friday night continues to make them better. Go Trojans /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
adsmom86
I hate making predictions this time of year...cause ANYTHING can happen. I THINK DC can take Cov. again...will be very fast paced that is for sure. D'burg Haywood...I don't know. To win McClin Will HAVE to hit those 5-7 footers and they can't foul like they did against NS....Haywood has more on the floor....NS only stand out player is Prather. Haywood has more than that. That said Good Luck!!!!
yankees8589
Dburg better watch out for the trio of Taylor, Harrison, and Greer. All are very good players. It's going be really tough to go into Haywoods gym and win. Sometimes with Haywood you never know which team will show up...but when they bring there A game they are very good. Justin Blake and Ricky Taylor are the two best seniors from rural West TN. Taylor is so low kee and overlooked that even I have forgotten about him at times. Taylor is really good....Dburg will not have an answer for him.
warmachine7954
Taylor is a good player and so is Justin but don't forget about MJ Brown.

Believe me we don't forget about MJ...PurpleandGold wouldn't let us...I expect him to have MJ bronzed at the end of the season /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

mattfromdburg
As I look at Haywood's schedule, I notice one thing, inconsistency, but they have defeated the Trojans twice. They have a narrow loss to Northside, that is interesting. (Dyersburg beat NS three times) As I look at DC and Covington, I see an early season matchup that DC narrowly won. Should be interesting. I'll be there early tommorrow for a seat. GO TROJANS!
