South Pitt vs Cascade?

I know there was some talk of this toward the end of last season. Does anyone know if that scrimmage was ever finalized? I didn't know if it was planned for the spring or early fall. Anyone have any info?

Our spring scrimmage is with Trousdale. I haven't heard of anything for summer/fall

Thanks, Zone. I keep meaning to ask Coach Parker everytime I see him, but I'm in the middle of softball season now and it keeps slipping my mind.

Just kidding. It would be hard to find a better 1a team for next year to scrimmage with except maybe Oneida. Cascade would be interesting as a regular season game but I know both teams have a lot of region games and the Pirates have some have to "family" obligations (i.e. Jasper) up the road.

Old Pirate heard the boys from jasper have been practicing. They probably can't get much done w/o the boys on the diamond. SP, hopefully will start while OP can perhaps sneak off and watch a scrimage. OP wonders........... do the Pirates have 1 at home this spring? The only 1 OP has heard about is the TC in Sewanee.

SP now has an open date where the Temple game would have been. Not sure when that is but we need to play somebody with a good team and Cascade would fit the bill. I believe that would be in week 9. It will be awful hard to find. They of course are also off with their scheduled open date in week 0. Unless they look out of state I don't know if they will be able to find an opponent to play them.

I assumed that the Temple game was in the same slot as last year but I haven't seen a 2008 schedule. A week 0 game is also a possibility. It's going to be tough finding a game now. An AL or GA team might be a possibility but even their schedules may be set
