How was CSS's schedule compared to Notre Dames? Did Notre Dame lose to easy teams? hmmmm.....

Notre Dame lost to Bayor, Cleveland, and Grissom. CCS lost to Dalton and KCHS. but could only muster a tie againest East Ridge.

CCS 2- N.Dame 1

For sure it is not the season so far that we would have liked. But losing to Baylor and Grissom....both are always powerhouses. Cleveland is very good this year. Lost alot from last years team....but we are not out of it yet. CCS still plays Hixson and us. Hixson is very improved also.

ND 88 I totally agree. You guys are not out of it by no means. I stand by my earlier post "that you guys are loaded". But from talking with some folks around town I still feel that this is not a dominate ND team of years past. I know you could be because I know alot of players on your team, but for some reason I get the feeling that somethings been missing so far.

Please remember it is only my prediction, pulled straight out of my butt. And as my wife reminds me everyday I'm often wrong. /blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" />

Good luck in your game with CCS and keep coach Jim calm.

Often times teams like Giles CO. which have had great records in the past are kept on the top 30 list representing districts that get less publicity.

I would bet that if Livingston Academy had 2 or 3 down years they would still appear on the poll because when pollsters are being asked who is best in the state they will name teams for areas that they don't live in who have had good past performances.

CCS 6 Hixson 0. Not much of a game, CCS dominated and dictated play all night long. CCS played most of the second team in the second half.

    • Honestly the A.D. may be powerless at Maryville to some degree versus other schools. I know he has his hands full with GoFan and all the stupid surprises just from the emails he sends out during the season.
    • Harriman was better than what I anticipated. They had good skill guys and a QB that’s gonna make a lot of teams look silly. They had some silly pre snap penalties but it’s just spring and I guess that’s expected.    Oneida looks the part. They are big upfront and got a stable of backs that’s gonna carry them this year. They have a few playmakers at receiver also. They have a new receiver that has only played basketball till this year and he is very athletic. The question is can we find a QB to consistently get them the ball. They played 2-3 kids there and none looked great but they didn’t look awful either. The  defense is gonna be tough again but it’s very early and a lot can change between now and the fall.     It was good just to get out and watch some ball. I don’t know if Oneida has the team to win the region this year but just what I saw tonight I think they may be in the conversation come November.
