you seem high on coach anthony and it seems several people have the same opinion. did you play for him and what years because most people on here probably do not know who he is or when he coached. also i thought jeff co ran the veer, what is the "true veer' you speak of? im curious.

I pulled my post....i might have been a little harsh but my points are very concerning. I'm anxious to hear if there is any improvement tomorrow.

Yes I did play for Coach A and that is why i know the veer.

How did the scrimmage go? Bright spots, improvements...

Four to 2 overall and 3 to 1 on first team. Line blocked a little better but still not where they need to be. McFall made some good plays by making a sure lose into some positive yardage. Brooks pounded the ball like usual and had a couple of 15+yard runs. Denton will be a great passing QB with a little more experience and not dodging the D line and LB's. Darby never got much of a chance at QB and when he did the line wasn't there for him. He did look good playing the other positions.

Glad to see Coach Anderson maintaining discipline on the team. Those that were there know what I'm talking about. Those things happen sometimes, glad it was a scrimage not a game.

Defense gave up some big plays. Way to many missed tackles to count. Got burnt on the reverse several times. LBs and secondary need some work. Allen did a pretty god job at LB but it took several players to bring down the Central RBs. And there were some good stops in the back field, but not enough.

The score may not reflect it but they looked better. Not much, but better. Just wish they had another scrimage next week instead of an open date.

    • I think Dykes was better but your claim is a good 2nd and the list stops there. Dykes getting an NFL opportunity is big time even if it was short lived
