mhs
i hope this does not sound too "cliche" but the keys will be staying focused, taking each game one at a time and forgetting what they have done in the past. of course staying healthy will be another key as well. Guest trojanball4
coaching, leadership, talent, teamwork, and as for all teams they have to have the luck on their side
MaryvilleRebels
Playing good defense, especially on kickoff returns. Everytime we kicked the ball off and they returned it I was afraid, because every time we let them have entirely too many yards, many times letting them run past the 50 before hauling them down! BigDave1967
Great coaching by former coach Ted Wilson and current coach George Quarles has built Maryville's winning tradition!

RonMexico3
The grapes are quite sour today! I could care less, my son play for a Div II team. But, the facts are facts. Rutherford county has more talent then any county in the state. If they had open enrollment they would dominate every year (Still do in a lot of years). You can stick your head in the sand and think Maryville is great because of the coaches, or the history, or the facilities but any team could be good for years if they cherry picked their players from the entire county. Just be grateful Rutherford and Williamson county do it the right way. If Ravenwood or Riverdale could pick their players from the county, it would not be complete dominance by these teams.
