Stone is really bad. Scott 48-7.

How could you tell that their that bad?See if you all had played Knox Catholic Friday it would have been just as bad.So my question is how could you tell.I think Scott wins but by maybe 10 or so.It was a close first half last year so maybe the old ball bounces stones way this year and its a good close football game.Good luck to both

Stone by a couple touchdowns or more. stone is not the same team they have been in the past, u may not be able to tell that after the game against knox. catholic friday (but come on its knox. catholic) but even against them stone did jst fine for what they were up against. 21 to 7 goin into halftime, not bad. holding knox. catholic when they got to the 2 yard line for 3 downs and makein them miss the field goal, not bad at all. Stone beats Scott. by a couple tds or more, with an impressive defensive game. /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> watch for it

I am going to venture out and say that Stone can win this game. Scott County is not exactly world beaters.

What is the status with the Cumberland County school system? I know the commission kept the schools from starting on time, but then I had heard that the schools were back in, but also heard again that they may be shutting them back down because the budget still wasn't resolved. What is going on? And could this game possibly be postponed or forfieted if they close the schools again?

If Scott plays as sloppy (7 Turnovers) as they did against Gibbs, Stone will win this one. I really see this one being close, but Scott should prevail. Coach G will get the offense back on track. Not that the offense was really off track against Gibbs. they moved the ball all night long, but the TO's could be crucial against a stronger opponent. Stone is a better team than Gibbs. With all that being said, my prediction is:

Scott: 19

Stone: 13

    • Best-of-three sectional series vs East Robertson at home starting Wednesday.  They put us out last year at this point.  Go Pirates!!
    • I don't believe they have anyone that is surbers caliber but a decent staff overall.
    • Richland plays at McKenzie on Wed.  Should be a good series.  Does Richland have good pitching?
    • Congratulations to the Warrior baseball team winning the Region Championship.  Last night the football team beat Franklin Co 33-0 in their spring scrimmage. Warriors looked very good. Missing a few players who were playing baseball but still absolutely dominated. A lot of young ones got in halfway through the 3rd when the score reached 33-0. QB Tilton Pickett looked very sharp.  Sam Pickett is on another level this season. Seems to have put on 15 to 20 lbs in the off season and added a step as well. Transfer from last year Williamson caught numerous balls and is very elusive. Lots of athletes on this team. Defense was smothering and will only get better. The head coach from Sewanee was in attendance and offered 2 kids after the game. Could be a special year.
