i hoe the hawks find a way to win this game, but there first two games were aginst some weak teams and i think they have a false idea of who they are.

Yeah, they don't have much competition their first couple games. They are still very well coached and they play hard. Grace has more talent and are much older. IMO, Grace is better than last year and SD is younger and not quite as strong...but cannot be overlooked and taken lightly. Good luck to both teams!

Grace is much older than SD and has a great QB in Josh Blake. However, it does not seem that they have been playing to their full the past couple of weeks. And I think they have some linemen out with injuries if I've heard right. Silverdale has had some surprisingly good play from their young qb which was not expected. They also have a great athlete in Montgemery. I say Grace wins but Coach Allen and his staff find a way to keep it close. Grace 38 Silverdale 28.

That is a true statement...with all their talent, they haven't played to their full potential. I think they did second half of the Taft game though. They still had minor issues from what it looked like, but they dominated that second half and it looked like many young guys got a chance to play.

I think this game will be full of turnover, and be low scoring.

Grace- 14

Silver- 7

That is an interesting score...I respect it, just thought it was different. I don't see it that low scoring as Riverside put up some touchdowns on SD and Grace has a MUCH better O then them. With SD being young, I see many more TDs being put up...but hey, you could be right.

    • Dyersburg may win back to back to back championships. They are going to be hands down the best 3A team. Plus their District/region/sectionals are not very good. They basically just have to make it to region out of a 5 team district that has a few decent teams. South Gibson will be okay but they graduate their best player and there is nobody in the region 7 or region 8 who is going to compete with them.
    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
