I hope York players at least let us pray before the game without busting in on the prayer huddle. I also hope they dont try to hit our players in the back when we are warming up this season. Our guys need to be prepared for this kind of thing to happen and not be surprised and confused when it does. I hear this is their way of getting fired up. I hope it back fires on them and fires us up. That kind of crap always motivated Westmoreland in the past and didnt intimidate us one bit. Other than that sort of thing I hope this can be a physical knockdown drag out battle. I hope all of Sumner County comes up to the mole hill to see it. I may spend a vacation day just for this occasion.

thats exactly what gets them pumped up...are you serious thats the stupidest thing i have ever heard in my life that sounds like an excuse if i have ever heard one and thats pretty low to go just to talk smack about a football game i mean come on how old are you thats real mature if you ask me or anyone else we are pretty serious about praying at a sporting event and if someone accidentily bumbped into one of your ppl while you were praying i am pretty sure they did not mean to and and they prolly did not say sorry cause they realized what was goin on so before you start getting angry and saying something stupid think first it prevents a lot of stupid things from getting said

This prayer circle thing is a result of a Rumor from a York game that WHS was not involved in. If York is not guilty of this then forgive Mr. Postman. The hitting in the back was from 2006 when Westmoreland was running thru their plays before the York Vs WHS game. The York players ran on the field and was shoving each other into the Westmoreland players. I saw it myself. That is not Sportmanship at all. Late hitting was going on alot in the first half of that game and the Refs called several Personal Fowl Penalties in the second half against York. This is 2008, Please all players from both sides play with good sportmanship. Lets make this a great atmosphere.

Singray, I am not Termite obviously, but yes, I think you all have a very good shot at winning. I am predicting you to do so as a matter of fact. York is good, but not as good as last year in my opinion. However, if they don't make any mistakes (turnovers, execute in crucial times) they will be hard to beat just as any team would be.

Really, I think they are just as good if not better..But that is my opinion.

 

York at home is tough..So I think the Dragons will just be too much.
