Really big matchup that has big playoff implications. For Oakland, a win pretty much locks up a playoff spot for the 1st time since 2003. For Smyrna, a win puts them one step closer to getting back to the playoffs.

I can see this game going either say as these teams are almost like twins. Both have proficient run games, but have won the bulk of their games on imposing their will by maintaining tempo along with very sound defense. Could very well be one of those 3-0, 7-3, 10-7 type of games.

I think this is a very good outlook of the game. This will definately be a defensive dominated game. GO BULLDOGS!

Let's just hope that Bryson's is in slow mode Friday night...... /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

Honestly, I want him at his best friday night. I want to see if Oakland can man up and stop what is probably the best running back in the region and one of the best in the state, along with hicks, they both make a formidable duo.

Well the best part is that it is at OHS that night. I don't know if I could take that Smyrna PA guy one more time. Totally obnoxious . WOW.........something just hit me.........I think Bandawg IS that guy.

I KNOW this yr's team will be inspired by the 98 team being honored that night! I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!! I do hate missing the Franklin vs Brentwood game though. After seeing Marty U last Friday, I am more than ready to see big Donnie Webb! These guys are the absolute GREATEST in my eyes and I would give anything to see them on the same sidelines once again! Preferably with a big O . It just doesn't seem right not having the two coaches responsible for that ring at the ceremony that night.

Truthfully, I think Oakland's D has always been its strength over the years that I have watched OHS ball. The difference this yr( that makes the D look even stouter) is that the O is doing their part to let the D have a blow during the game. Last yr's D was extremely good . They would hold the O , pull in an INT, or force a fumble....and then the O would turn it over on the very next play. That led to a lot of friction, disharmony, worn-out players, and losses. Had we just had a little bit of offense, I think we could have made the playoffs. This yr's team is much more balanced than the ones in the last few yrs. That leads to harmony and trust. The D can TRUST that the O will move the ball down the field and make their job easier. They can TRUST that when they force a turnover, the O will take advantage of it. I am not tryin g to insinuate that Coach White hasn't done an excellent job with the Defense b/c I think he has.
