GWAVE1
who comes out on top by seasons end.... I think it is a three team race for the championship with an outside shot for two other teams. The Antioch/Hendersonville matchup this week will eliminate one. Not sure if Hendersonville can hang with Davis and his quickness.
hvillefootball
It'll either be Hendersonville, Gallatin, or Hunter's Lane who wins the region. I honestly think the Hendersonville/Gallatin game will be for the championship.

Ya'll Hendersonville people have been really quiet since the Station Camp game, I thought we would have heard more from you especially after the ineligible player incident. You will have your plate full this week with Terrance Davis and Gleaves. Hunters Lane might not be too happy with your prediction either. Gtowner
Its obvious right now that HL is in the driver's seat. Funny thing is, in one week that could all change. I think the Gallatin vs Hunters Lane game will be for the region with H-ville finishing third.

The Antioch/ McGavock matchup will probably determine the final playoff spot. But I am still not sold on the team speed of Hendersonville. With the Hillwood win getting thrown out, H'ville really needs to beat Antioch this week. If not they have to pull a huge upset against HL or Gallatin. And there is no reason to be sold on any team speed from Hville, they are MUCH faster than years past, but most teams probably still have the edge in speed. I tell you this now though, the athleticism factor for Hendersonville is the best i have seen in several years. Should be a good game vs the Bears on Friday. C'mon now....there is no shame to say H'ville would not be favored in either of those two games. Both will be a fight, nobody is saying that the Commandos are an easy win. But if you look at the region, Hunters Lane and Gallatin are the favorites. If you listen to the media-radio only Hunters Lane is a favorite. Hendersonville will need some athleticism to stop the Bears. Hopefully ya'll can win and make the last few games really meaningful.
hvillefootball
I'm not playing dumb here, I really don't see Gallatin or Hunter's Lane as being better than Hendersonville this year.

The only thing I can go by besides the scores is the Beech game. I wasn't overly impressed by H'ville besides the Yazzie kid. Now that guy is a player. The QB, Hall looked better than some of the previous quarterbacks too. He had good ball fakes on some of the highlights and a strong arm. What do you base your assumptions on? Have you seen either Hunters Lane or Gallatin play?
hvillefootball
I have not seen either, only based what I said on the players that they return is all. I mean, there of course could be stellar players that didn't see any playing time last year I suppose. I guess I'll just sit quietly by myself and root for my beloved Commandos to bring the region championship back home ha.
TheMajestic
I personally dont think that Hendersonville beating Hunters Lane or Gallatin would be an upset at all.. They are all 3 great teams and i have seen hunters lane and hendersonville play and from what i hear gallatin is all around solid as well.. but from what i saw they were pretty evenly matched teams with hunters lanes fast athleticism mixed with a little power running when needed and hendersonvilles great special teams and an offense that can go for huge plays at any time.. i was impressed with both.. i say Hendersonville vs. Gallatin week 9 for the region championship.
