I think sweetwater is a very good team, and could have a very good season! They have a great defense, and there offense is also pretty good. I think the offense could be a little better if they would throw a few more short, or quick hitting passes (screen pass, hot passes, anything that hits quickly and can take advantage of there athletes or puts them 1 on 1 with a defender). It will open up an already good running game and make it better, it will also open up the opportunity for more long passes. the offense can be unstopable, as long as you don't get predictable and keep the defenses thinking ! There qb is good, with a strong arm, he just needs to realize that short passes are good to, if you throw short your recievers will get you yards and it will make it much easier to burn the defense on the long route. go cats!

'01 - GHS LIKE 40? TYNER LIKE 14 OR 17?

 

AND...Sweetwater could never get passed alcoa so GHS never got to beat them. i imagine this year Sweetwater will beat the rebuilding Alcoa, so GHS can play Sweetwater. I like tyner, they are a good team, and prob. should have won in '99, but were clearly not the best team last year. Don't start making excuses.

Sweetwater is tough and Goodpasture better pack a lunch because Sweetwater is packing some players that can assist in their journey 2 Mufreesboro.Polk County beat Cleveland in a scrimmage and Sweetwater annihalated Polk and Cleveland is no pushover. Goodpasture and Tyner, get ready.

How many juniors does Sweetwater have?

Goodpasture "ANNIHILATED" polk county last year in the second round (?) of the playoffs and knocked them out...like 48-7. I am sure the cougars and tyner will both take our "packed lunches" to the game with us when we meet you guys.

I agree with Tim. I don't think that Sweetwater is as good as Alcoa was in the previous two years. Heck don't be surprised if Rockwood and/or Wartburg wins Region 2AA because they are also loaded.

:DHooter it sounds like you have not seen Sweetwater this year. They are better than Alcoa 2001 but it is to early to be comparing them with Alcoa 2000. Sweetwater has the makings of a great team but the Boro is 15 games away and anything can happen. Go cats.
