South Pittsburg @ Grace Academy

Leave him alone OP! He's been over there at TT every Friday night wondering when the show is going to start.

Dadoffour's boy is no longer at Temple. Rector is now at Grace Academy. The word is that those boys from The Pitt say he is a marked man, so take it for what its worth. I think Dadoffour is thinking he might get a repeat performance from Temple and South Pitt from two years ago. I have news for him, Temple doesn't have a program and this is SURE NOT the same SP team full of sophomores that he saw then.

I think you are confused or misinformed, dadoffour is not Nathan Rectors dad.

Plus it's been two years now, Temple made a mistake and they are paying. Y'all are too good to be bashing programs and things that happened in the past. Focus on this season.

That's right NP. The Rectors are a wonderful family, but not related to me. It's funny to me that Spitt boys would be going after Nathan. He was an eighth grader at Temple when Spitt got creamed by them 2 years ago. I doubt he got closer to the action than the sideline. He was a standout on a terrible Temple team last year, but wasn't able to do much against Spitt then either. Anyway, if he reads CoachT I'm sure he can't wait until game night now. That kid loves to hit!

This game should help sp tune up for the second round against Friendship Christian. Their quarterback has an arm and is mobile like Blake so it should be an interesting new scheme ran. Or maybe no scheme, Coach Pratt just might tell his boys on D this week to pin their ears back and attack attack attack!

Yea, you beat us up pretty good, but TT was also convicted of cheating that year. Maybe without all those transfers and kids practicing with you and not even enrolled in school, it may have been a different story.

Regardless of your misunderstanding of what went on at Temple that year, Spitt came in to that game heavy favorites and totally unprepared, and went away losers. Spitt is once again a heavy favorite in this game against Grace, but if they aren't ready for Friday night you and your Spittites better start coming up with plenty of excuses and accusations.

I guarantee we will be prepared. We had a team full of sophomores that year, they are seniors now. Like I said, TT did beat South Pitt by 30 something points that night, but I couldn't consider any win a true win that year because of the CHEATING factor. Got to play by the rules Dadoffour. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

Like OP said, South Pitt has one of the richest traditions in all of highschool football. I don't think you want to start comparing with your 2 year wonder at TT. Have a nice day.

    • There's going to be more fallout from this.  It's not over.   A criminal investigation is also underway.  Additional school counselors have been fired.   As far as coach flip flops is concerned,  a lot of people knew he was flirting with disaster. He was recruiting failed athletes from other schools. Grades and discipline issues that got otherwise good athletes kicked off other area teams were playing at CHS. Grades, addresses or transfer rules be dam ed. It was just a matter of time.  It's a culture issue at the school. I've heard an assistant coach and teacher for another sports team was let go for not breaking up a fight on campus between 2 girls.  Supposedly he's only there because of coach flip flops, they're close.  That guy's kid, who's a great athlete in the school,  will probably transfer out to.  There's just so many layers to this .   I'm not sure the director of all Anderson county schools doesn't get bit by this somehow. He's the one who wanted, pushed for the principal at Clinton in the first place.  He initially denied anything had been uncovered when a local station broke the story.  He had to back track his statements.   It's ugly in Clinton right now folks.   Add in the fact that there's such a huge rivalry with ACHS across the river,  it makes it bitter for clinton fans if they say anything.  Especially given the dominance that ACHS has had over Clinton for 20+ years in  almost everything.
    • Congratulations to y'all. I have been texting some Huntingdon friends. What a great accomplishment. Proud of y'all. Keep battling.
    • I remember it happening, but I don't remember the details. I usually have headphones on so I don't hear the PA anyway. But it seems like a guy I know was doing it at one point, but he either didn't start it or didn't finish. I don't remember which.
    • Kreuziger from Huntingdon has been fantastic on the mound!  I think if the Fillies can score a couple of runs tomorrow it may be all they need to capture their first ever state championship in Softball.  Great day to be a Huntingdon fan!  Baseball team has won 17 in a row and plays for State Championship tomorrow also!
